I have no idea but at a guess Waggots if they were shit and Thorns if they were good?
I can't think of any others.
Were they here when we got Fleck / Barton etc?
Was Moussa at the same time as them?
SP has made some shocking signings to be fair
But so did Robins and so did Thorn
When you can only sign loanees and freebies I guess it always going to be a bit hit and miss
Dowie's were dreadful too.

Ellory Cairo anyone?
Nice to see that he has come out and said some of the signings were wrong and that it is being addressed.
Quite a decent scouting team too, hopefully it will pay off pre season!
As lord points out Ray Ranson was the only man with an eye for a talent at Cov
Gunner
Westwood
Dann
Fox
Keogh
Or someone was during that time......
Who?

Don't make him say the Thorne word ,did'nt Dowie reckon Dann and Fox were on his radar.
The largely unknown defensive midfielder was recommended to Coleman by fellow countryman and Bolton striker Heidar Helguson.

Ah, one of the famous 6 foot athletes Dowie promised us (I still like Dowie regardless, I'd put him on a par managerially with Robins and Pressley, take that how you will)
I thought he was shit. Take that how you will.

don't know if he was shit ,thought he would be better though .
how do you mean Torch ,obviously results could have been better ,but how do you mean Shit?
I'm going purely on hunch here ,but I reckon Adams And Coleman were probably more able to bring players In ?Yep, if you look purely at league games, there's actually very little between Coleman, dowie and Adams ....and that final runs, was it 8 point from 16 games when he was sacked?
Manset - fail
Slager - fail
Webster - Ok
Seabourne - decent
Marshall - good

Webster and Seabourne have both been poor, Marshall has done ok though, showed promise.
I think the biggest problem (besides the lack of money embargo etc..) is the numbers of players who came in for short stints to then go again. The revolving door has had a negative impact on the second half of the season. Also SP's philosophy of developing the youth is now looking challenged, he was helping developing Arsenal's & QPR's youth players whilst also bringing in journeymen like Prutton & Robinson. Since the move to sixfields that has not been one impressive signing - unless you count chris maguire for 3 or 4 games.
I would like to see a stat relating to wins and clean sheets when Jordan Willis plays. I think it will speak for itself. When Christie was out injured, we won a good run of games with Willis at RB, which came to an end when Cyrus was recalled. Our recent defensive improvement, with a few clean sheets has coincided with the return of Willis to the starting line up too. I know there are other factors in this tactics etc, however, I think our best back four for next season (as is):Whoever has been selected to play at the back we've been prone to concede a couple of goals eveery game apart from when phillips was rightback and more recently when he changed the shape.
