It's terrorism and needs combating as such. Ignoring though that we have many, many more Muslims in this country who live peacefully and disavow the likes of IS.

Even if they have unless they are pleading guilty then I can’t imagine these are quick or easy cases and you want to be certain you’ve done everything you can to secure a conviction.
The rioters could be fast tracked because the evidence meant they have guilty pleas. And obviously there was a motive to fast track things and send a message to stop others from rioting. You get decades for murder and it’s clearly not working as a deterrent so not sure fast tracking would have much impact.
