I'm a pensioner Otis and pay income tax...tbh I can manage without it but what pisses me off is that 800,000 pensioners are entitled to "pension credit" and are too proud to claim it (or don't know how to) getting "pension credit" would qualify them for the winter fuel allowance.... only my opinion but Reeves should have corrected this anomaly alongside the scrapping of the allowance.There's a lot of pensioners who don't need it though.
