I went to the cess pit and even on there all I can find is a couple of race war accounts claiming they know. I can’t see any videos at all. I won’t repost here cos it’s a kid but one TikTok screenshot showing a random kid saying his name was Omar and it was him. Also some other random kid who says they go to the school and nothing like this has ever happened. So choose your random child fighter I guess?

It is always so obvious which random child fighter you will choose.

I mean we’re in a thread where the random Twitter accounts were proven wrong at every turn so I’m happy to wait before starting a race war personally.

And it is the case that the kid shouldn’t be stabbed in school and it’s an absolutely horrific crime whoever did it

Obviously. I can see us ending up like the states with metal detectors and clear plastic bags.

Saw something about phasing out pointed tipped knives but seems completely unrealistic to me.

And my usual post in these threads about how violent crime is well down even though knife crime is up. The world seems scarier because of your media diet not because it’s going to hell in a handcart.

I have this argument a lot with American friends about violence. I also have the conversation with myself a lot about managing my emotions and hell if I can’t control my aggression why do I expect everyone else to.
There has to be an answer and it’s not mandatory prison sentences although I’m happy that may be a small part of it

The Scotland model, which to be fair is a much smaller and more concentrated country and with a different offender profile apparently was to start with increased sentences and follow up with lots of intervention work for specific kids.

I heard a campaigner this morning say when they go into schools they ask what % of the general population carry knives and are regularly told 40-50% by the kids. So there’s work in educating on how it’s not normal, but I know there’s a “you don’t understand the streets sir” element to that.

Agree with this too, didn't the BBC recently promote some of it and it turns out he was a murderer?

Anybody acting like a roadman should get the shit kicked out of them, they would soon stop.

Sadly this is the norm now and it can't be, why should parents be forced into to sending their children to school with this going on.

Because it’s extremely rare? Why should you go outside with cars driving around? This is national news because it basically never happens.

Teenagers are twice as likely to be stabbed to death than 10 years ago... It's on the rise.

Percentage increases are misleading for very low occurrence events though. It is on the rise, and something needs to be done, but parents shouldn’t be scared to send their kids to school as wingy suggested because even at double the rate it’s extremely rare.

My dad worked in a young offenders and most of them ended up 'in the system'. Sadly some of them wanted to be back in and would reoffend for that reason. They had routine, 3 meals a day, warmth, a bed and didnt get beaten up or abused in the way they did at home. Some really sad cases, but hard to look past the fact most of them were little pricks on the outside world.

It depends what it is. Sometimes I think people should get a slap and be on their way.

A lot of the time the little cunts have zero respect for anybody, obviously it starts at home too.

Parenting plays a huge part (yes I also know that there will be kids with knives who have been brought up well).

Contraception would solve a lot.
