Must be more to it, that seems incredibly harsh. Article says covers were on and heaters in use. What else were they expecting?

See on their site they've signed goal machine Nouble. 18 goals in 151 games, what a strike rate.

He'd been their groundsman for 27 years.

Yet Canvey Island, 12 miles away, got their game on.

Sacked because the Ref couldn't be arsed?

A lot of other games in the area off though and doesn't one of their stands block any sunlight from getting on the pitch (from memory, might be mixing it up with somewhere else).

Can't remember any tall buildings surrounding the ground and the stands are too low to prohibit sunlight but think some nearby trees throw a bit of shade.

Seems incredibly harsh nonetheless.
