Alright lads and ladies, Southend fan here;

Just wanna say us lost know what it feels like with the whole 'administration' crisis etc etc. Truly sorry to hear that, hope you don't hit rock bottom.
We escaped administration and I'm sure you lot will. Not sure weather it will be for the best or not but at this late stage in the season, clearly not ha.

Have a lot of respect for fans and teams in the football league. Just a message to say good luck for the rest of the season, and for the club. Hope all goes well.

Deej.

Thanks SUFC. Any ideas how to get Freddie Eastwood back to scoring goals that go into double figures??

Cheers SUFC, how about we loan Eastwood back to you for the remainder of the season to get his form back? :thinking about:

Yeah I wish ha. We messed up the play-offs now, but ah well. Main goal was to avoid relegation 'again' as the past couple of years have been tough. Just give him a kick up the ass, got so much talent that guy!

Yep, confidence player too. When Freddys on fire he's superb, but he's had a fair few injuries and it takes him a while to get going again each time. He's key to us staying up, thats for sure.

Honestly cannot see how we are going to stay up, yes we are 8pts clear but on form, we are dead certs for relegation.

Scunthropes Run In...

Norwich City v Scunthorpe United

Scunthorpe United v Queens Park Rangers
Scunthorpe United v Reading
Crystal Palace v Scunthorpe United
Coventry City v Scunthorpe United
Scunthorpe United v Millwall
Nottingham Forest v Scunthorpe United
Scunthorpe United v Portsmouth

I give them 7 points out of that lot !!!

.....................................

Sheff Utd's run in...

Sheff Utd v Middlesbrough
Sheff Utd v Cardiff
Preston v Sheff Utd
Sheff Utd v Bristol City
Reading v Sheff Utd
Sheff Utd v Barnsley
Swansea v Sheff Utd

They COULD comfortably get 10 points...

SO, based on the above and CCFC getting NO points between now and end of the season, it looks like this...

Sheff Utd 45
Coventry 42
Scunthorpe 41

We need 2 wins I reckon...

Dont know where they are coming from though !!

Big weekend this......

QPR v Sheff Utd
Norwich v Scunny
Cov V Watford
Palace v Barnsley

If Sheff Utd and Scunny lose and Palace win, and we draw, the gap will look quite big !!.

Coventry 43
Palace 42
Sheff Utd 35
Scunthorpe 34

A win for us aon saturday would be MASSIVE. Another 2 points on top of the above and 10 points off the drop with 7 games to go feels a lot more comfortable...

If you gave us zero points then you obviously gave Scunthorpe three of their seven by winning at the Ricoh.

Tbh Idon't agree and I think you are over estimating Sheff Utd's return. However, what it points to me is that the home game against Scunthorpe is key. Providing we don't lose that game we virtually condemn them and that only leaves one spot. Palace are also not sef yet and one or two others looking over their shoulder. I think a home win against Scunthorpe would be ample even if we were to lose all the other games which I don't believe that we will.

was just a guide rob

exactly the same for me, we can not lose that Scunthorpe game....

A win on saturday would go a long way to make all of this nonsense anyway

I just want us to be safe well before going to Norwich on the last day, cos I can see us getting bugger all from that game.

All this talk of "Scunny this", "Sheffield that", "Preston or City the other", .... I take it you're all at the VERY top of the Prediction League? If not, you should be, with such definate forecasts!!

"We will be better in the 2nd half of the season"
