Just seen today they’ve got rid of their manager and seen Talk sport on about them and Lampard. Imagine he at the very least completes another year?

I wouldn’t be surprised if Lampard is interested in speaking to them. Always felt like it would take something monumental to attract Robins but Lampard just wants to be successful and manage at the highest level, doesn’t owe us anything.

i can only imagine lampard would say similar to viktor, "if i dont get promoted with cov, ill look elsewhere"

I mean that’s fair but would I thought he’d want to do a full season although Southampton offers a lower level and a lot more money and tools. Means in essence he would have a easier time to get back to the prem

I wouldn't expect him to go Southampton to be honest. They'll be the same level as us and although they'll have the parachute money and their training facilities are decent, I reckon he's keen on the project here and likes what he's doing.

Not showing in the odds at the minute either (which doesn't really mean anything at this early stage I guess).

Lampard needs a successful stint in management and the early signs are good here. He's not guaranteed that at Saints.

To be fair, when he took over, we were heading towards a relegation battle...I can't imagine he was thinking about promotion when he started.

He left Derby after a year, admittedly the Chelsea job was too good to turn down.

We’ve seen this year the advantage the parachute teams have got. Close to the family in Bournmouth, wouldn’t surprise me at all if he was interested.

He will definitely be interested in them, highly unlikely they’re interested in him

Why would he be interested? Lets be honest regarding Robins even the level of Southampton would not have looked at him.

Lampard strikes me as someone who likes to not leave unfinished business doubt he’d go somewhere at the same level, can see him sticking around for a little bit at least another full season

Harry Redknapp lives near Bournemouth so I think he means that family, not his misses and kids.

When I woke up this morning, I did not think I would be reading Hello Magazine, but here we are.

The feature on Christine Lampard's home office was a personal highlight.

If Lampard chose Southampton over us, then he really would be viewed as untrustworthy, a flake and a chancer with no long-term commitment to a project.
The only reason to move to Southampton would be the for the parachute payments (assuming we don't get promoted).

Nah he's not stupid, he knows he has a reputation to build, to leave after less than a year is a poor look. He hasn't even had a summer transfer window here yet. Whilst I doubt he's going to be here for years this is way too soon. We are a good fit for him, I doubt he'd jump ship for a prem job yet either, he must know that his rep needs repairing away from that sort of glare.

Can't see him being attracted by Southampton. I think he sees an opportunity here. If he went to Southampton, okay he could get promotion -then what? Defeats and the sack.

If he moves up to the Prem it will be for a team who are too good to be relegated but need improving. A team around 15th or 14th.

Wages aren't important to him, he has already said, a club's ambition and the people he has to work with (above him) are key when he joins a club. That is based on his managerial experiences and what he has learnt already. He won't necessarily jump at the first opportunity presented to him.

Do you think he's read "Frankie's Magic Football" shown in the article?

Be interesting to see how many of their better players stick around. Would imagine Ramsdale and Dibling would be off pretty quickly as well as others. They could end up struggling next year.
