With all this talk of tickets, thought it worth repeating what I heard earlier that we have accepted a paltry allocation for the last game of the season (about 1000) and that this cannot be increased because Southampton have already started selling the extra tickets to their fans. Hope this isn't true, but wouldn't surprise me.

would be a disgusting acquiesence if true ,unless they've signed a prenup that insists they do not score against us

Don't football league rules state were entitled to a certain % of the capacity?

It's 10% Coundon-so if we wanted 3000 they'd be obliged to give them.

True, but the home club can request you take a certain allocation and if you agree there is nothing that can be done. Happened at West Ham this season where we accepted an allocation of only 800 which sold out way before the game.

Hopefully this isn't true.

If we need to get something at Southampton to stop up,tickets or no tickets thousands will go down, nice time of the year, fill out their boozers then off to the New Forest or Bournemouth to celebrate.

Shouldn't we email the club to find out the answer?

Exactly what happened at west ham!
They gave us 3000 yet the club were worried they would lose out on unsold tickets and they took 800 and had be, yet I believe 1500+ would have been sold.
