Some very strange decisions so far. Incompetence even at the highest level.
Seems to be missing anything Chelsea seem to do and giving them decisions.

Have the look of a doomed team all of a sudden.

Can't believe Alonso stayed on the pitch....

To be frank though Southampton today had the look of a doomed team. Actually reminded me of our game at Villa Park, at 2-0 they looked confident enough to see it through. The moment Chelsea scored, they just fell to pieces in defence.

It's quite sad because whilst City will always be my team, Southampton are as close to a second team as anyone will ever get to be. They were meant to be building a long lasting legacy there when they got back up, but all they've done is sold decent player after player and not replace them well and it's put them on the way down. It's been obvious for most of the season (league wise, anyway) where they were heading.

Southampton have been caught out you can’t keep selling your best players for mega millions and replacing with cheap ones, Stoke have invested poorly and West Brom are like Sunderland last year a team of championship players being paid top wages.

Be interesting to see how they would all do in the Championship.

You will have to see what business they do in the summer West Brom will need to rebuild and from a few reports are in a total mess financially and who would want to have their players and Jonny Evans has a three million release clause it didn’t take Pardew long to destroy them.

Stoke will spend big but will also have to move a few out players like Butland won’t stop.

Southampton will lose a few but should have plenty of money to replace

They finished 8th last season and had s cup final. It was the sacking of the manager as he was deemed “not managing the Southampton way” whatever that means that’s bought about their debacle.

It also the constant turnaround of players as you can’t keep getting big money for one and replacing much cheaper at some point the other clubs start looking in the same place as you
