In the last pre season didn't O'donovan score a couple and declare we wouldn't miss Marlon King?

I'm fairly optimistic if I'm honest! Yes the two teams we have played haven't been exactly difficult, we have shown guts, shown that we know how to play football, and play as a team! Not one of the players have tried to do everything themselves. On Saturday Sheff and ROD linked up very well. Today Sheff and Hussey linked up very well. Fleck looked impressive always wanting the ball, and the chinatown of youth and experience seems to be paying off. The next two games will be more competitive IMO so we will know where we are after that IMO

Don't get fooled by O D, he will be a squad player nothing more and if AT signs 2 more attacking players he will be sent out on loan to Northampton soon after....

By beating Yeovil we can match last season's away win haul.

As a city fan it has recently been easy to become pessimistic about almost everything regarding the club . But 13 goals in two pre-season games and a clean sheet has certainly cheered me up. When was the last time Cov scored 13 goals in two pre-season games?

Let's hope it lasts

(hear the pessimism creeping in at the end, old habits and all that...)

Yeahh i feel like that, but normally we have 0-0, 1-1 draws. So the fact that we are scoring goals, and plenty of them, is promising

I know it's hilarious. O'donovan's "career" is one of abject failure yet still people think he offers something. Why?

Exactly. Its like a British summer - you take the sunshine when you can.

C'mon a top 6 finish has got to be on the cards at least whether or not we have any trust in 'the empire'.

It's nice but pre-season means nothing. The most important thing about these games is that they use them to get match fitness up and learn the formations and style Thorn wants them to play.

It is nice to be scoring goals though!

Now if that happened i'd eat my hat lol

Though i hope we do beat them with a few goals. Goal difference might mean a hell of a lot if we're doing good by the end of the season!

Hmm I like this prediction! Though I'd like a clean sheet if we could get it.

Question is, Who do you think would score?

After tonights performance i'd be tempted to say Fleck, Sheffers and maybe one of the French Lads from a corner...

I'm still careful.
We "just" looked good against two tiny lower division clubs.
That Yeovil match will show where we stand.

In league one bar baker who are our top scorers in previous seasons?

We seem to have a stronger midfield and will be against weaker opponents, so should get many more chances to score. Wil be expecting many teams to sit back against us. Will this be a good thing though? If Bill and Kevin are as good as they look then a very big maybe.

'Just look good'! I'd love to see what your actual good is!
We scored 13 goals in 180 minutes!
