13 goals in 2 games, ROD 2 in 2, Things looking up?![]()
In the last pre season didn't O'donovan score a couple and declare we wouldn't miss Marlon King?
Imagine if we just bang them in for fun this season. Walk it. It'll soon get more asses on seats.
By beating Yeovil we can match last season's away win haul.
As a city fan it has recently been easy to become pessimistic about almost everything regarding the club . But 13 goals in two pre-season games and a clean sheet has certainly cheered me up. When was the last time Cov scored 13 goals in two pre-season games?
Let's hope it lasts
(hear the pessimism creeping in at the end, old habits and all that...)![]()

Yes a 15 game period in someone's career = proven.
I know it's hilarious. O'donovan's "career" is one of abject failure yet still people think he offers something. Why?
Yeahh i feel like that, but normally we have 0-0, 1-1 draws. So the fact that we are scoring goals, and plenty of them, is promising![]()
Exactly. Its like a British summer - you take the sunshine when you can.
C'mon a top 6 finish has got to be on the cards at least whether or not we have any trust in 'the empire'.
Theres a facility at the top for rating threads ,if someone likes /thinks its a good thread they can rate it up to 5 stars.Quick newbie question, what does 5 stars mean on the list of posts?

Imagine if we win 7-0 on the opening day of League One (yn)
Now if that happened i'd eat my hat lol
Though i hope we do beat them with a few goals. Goal difference might mean a hell of a lot if we're doing good by the end of the season!
We will win. I'm confident. Maybe 3-1.
We seem to have a stronger midfield and will be against weaker opponents, so should get many more chances to score. Wil be expecting many teams to sit back against us. Will this be a good thing though? If Bill and Kevin are as good as they look then a very big maybe.
I'm still careful.
We "just" looked good against two tiny lower division clubs.
That Yeovil match will show where we stand.
