Right !!!
this is getting embarrassing
When King is getting stick in the form of "she said no, marlon"
To reply with "she said yes" is moronic
look around and see how many female city fans are singing along or how many
fathers like myself who attend with our daughters are cringing with embarassment.
Replying with "He scores goals marlon he scores goals"
This work's and adds extra voices
rant over and thank you
Oh and one more thing
the "Gary breen" chant
DON'T START AT No1
it doesn't work
PUSB
And I'm one of the few women who will sing "She said yes Marlon" it's a song, not justifying what's happened (After all can't believe the press all the time)
One of the "FEW" sbk
and No1 gary breen (marlon king) won't work too many numbers
try "lily the pink" a favourate in the 70's along with "your gonna get your f*$king head kicked in" and "your goin home in a St John ambulance"
it's just a song
Well where do you stop,
with todays SQUAD numbers
"number thirtytwooooooo marlon king"
I said start at number two because that is the first outfield number
and thats how the original chant started.
My dauhter knows that we have 11 in the team but has never seen city turn out with numbered shirts 1 to 11
I prefer the "he scores goals" version of the chant too, but having said that i don't think the intention of "she said yes" has any particular sentiment about the incident itself attached; i think it's more to do with getting behind our man and singing it louder than the opposition fans do.
