Whenever we get a large away following we just end up singing the sky blue song over and over.

For the spurs match I'd like a bit more variety.

I'm up for singing the cup final song go for it city.

Perhaps we cud rewrite the words for the present?

When you hear the whistle go you should see mcsheffrey go, sky blues shooting to Win.

The only reason that we don't sing any other songs is because a lot of people that are going to Tottenham are going to see Tottenham and not support city

Considering about 4k were sold before general sale, I doubt that. Most are either ST holders, or members.

The fact that we had sold 4500 tickets for Spurs when they were only on sale for Season ticket holders / members shows that it is not a 'bandwagon / part timer' following.

I find that halfway through the song people just kind of give up.

I hope they don't start doing the Leicester scarf waving... I cringe every time.

The bloke who does the stadium reviews in the programme - (paul mckay?) normally comes up with some amusing songs.

I think we need some new songs completely to complement the old, on Saturday it was good but if we had more it would of been better, I go to watch Celtic occasionally (I'm not comparing their support to ours) however they do have many different simple songs from chants to full songs, I remember at HR their was always one or two groups that would start a song off...out of interest how many songs can you attribute to CCFC, ill start with the ones I know...

In our Coventry Homes
Had a wheel barrow
Twist n Shout
Sky Blue Song
We are the Boys from Coventry

Anymore or does anyone have any suggestions of songs we can bastardise?

I made one for Jennings when he signed

"Singin don't worry... about a thing... because at centre mid... we've got Steve Jennings" - I thought it worked quite well!

Might put my brain into a couple more... I'd love one for the Edge but how you'd get his name into song I don't know! The simple ones are the best though.

Talking of Celtic fans, has anyone else seen the video of the lad who must be no older than 10 leading about a thousand of them in a song? Its quality!

In all fairness, I do think we need a way to get new chants from forums like this to the people who tend to start them, a twitter account or something similar. The same tacky songs we sing as every other team (Just Can't Get Enough comes to mind) drive me mad. I am also glad that the "How Shit Must You Be" seems to have stopped, could never bring myself to sing that.

We sing what we sing because they are our songs!
No better sound for me than 5000 city fans all singing PUSB.
Lets not try and be something we are not.
