Have to say this is some of the best attacking football ive seen in all my years watching Coventry , 1st game against hull it felt a bit samey as last season but since then I think weve been superb for the most part

We will win games by several goals on a few occasions this season .

Hopefully wolfy brings a bit of discipline and finesse to the back line and we start getting our reward for some superb performances

We should really, on the balance of every game including Hull be on 15 points

Yeah this is what I’m taking from today. If we can keep this up all season we’ll easily be in the top 6 if not challenging for autos.

We are a real force going forward, it’s amazing to watch at times. We are one functioning defensive unit away from being a top team in this league.

I think we have to accept that is partly a result of how we set up. We do ask a lot of the central defenders when we get caught in transition.

Sorry, but unless our strikers and AM start taking their chances, i fear your optimism is premature. Lovely football with no end-product does not win games!

I think over the course of the season every stat points towards us being a top side in this league

Should have really had about 4.

Emc had their right back every time but didn't make the most of him being on a booking.

Agreed. Superb to watch going forward. But 2 Centre-Halves who don’t follow attackers runs means we’re going to need to score a lot of goals

Our strikers and AM are more than capable of scoring goals, I simply don’t understand the desire to rip up this forward line, it’s absolutely humming.

Yeah thought he played quite well but quite often doesn't put the ball in soon enough and instead will try another step over

Been very impressed with it overall, thought today we seemed a bit off with stray passes and some poor decision making etc, but we should have still been way out of sight.

I just feel we lack that instinctive goalscorer like a younger Matt Godden. Early days yet, still think we could be top 2

We are scoring a lot but people are getting a bit carried away, we shall see after we’ve played brum and the scum up the road where we really are

Textbook today I’m afraid. Dominated, toothless up top and soft at the back.

Keeping things in perspective, in every game we’ve played this season, we’ve been the better team and deserved the win. It’s not always going to go our way but we’re playing really well and come the end of the season, we’ll be up there!

It's a huge difference from the turgid crap we were serving up for the first few months of last season. The results will come

As I said, the confidence of their smug fans seemed to be eaten up by everyone else for some reason. They are a decent Championship team sure, one that could cause issues if we're off it, but no more than that. Absolutely nothing special about them.
Turns out League One is just really shit so if you throw £30 million at it you'll probably do alright.

I think the main concern is that of the out-and-out forwards, only Wright is a consistent goal scorer.

Our midfield will get goals, but not at the rate they have so far, and you need your men in the box to convert a higher percentage of chances.

I know this is off a frustrating game where we should have buried an opponent, so view possibly skewed, but I do feel we should have brought in a forward. Perhaps we tried.

How can people say we are toothless upfront?
We are quite literally the top scorers in the championship

The last home game, we scored 7, and everything we hit went in.
Today we dominated just as much but didn't have the same luck in front of goal, partly because Norwich pulled players back behind the ball at every opportunity and offered very little up front, and partly because their keeper made a couple of top draw saves.
On another day we score 4.

And in Haji Wright we have the most prolific striker in the championship.

Norwich couldn't cope with us at 0-0, if we scored first today, I think we'd have got 5.

Watched the game with a Norwich fan, who is also a professional PL scout…

First half, he thought EMC was an excellent player. Second half, he said: “I’ve changed my mind: he is missing a yard of pace, and tries to beat his man too many times, when he’s already through”.

It's great to watch, just makes the defensive fuck ups all the more frustrating.

I think the way we set up will leave the defence more exposed, what's more important is scoring first imo. I also don't think we're that frail defensively, today was the first goal not from a set piece and really came from GK spiling it and Haji not fighting for it.

Some absolutely gorgeous stuff today. We seem to lose shape quite easily an can get quite ragged and need to work on really making that early pressure count. But it’s going to be a fun season wherever we finish.

Up to their first goal you could have easily seen us winning 4 or 5 nil.

We really do look very good; fair play to Lampard and his team. I really hope we can keep Rudoni for another season after this if we don’t go up.

I hope so too, but the reality is that if we don’t go up , he is gone.

We are absolutely sublime to watch. Ive watched a few games now this season, and ive not seen 1 side who i think is miles better than us. Sort out the defence, be lucky with injuries and suspensions and we will be in with a real shout of autos
