We all want promotion.

But if we make the playoffs there are still 3 other teams, given our record of bottling the matches that really count, do you really think that's on the cards?

Maybe/Maybe not, but the facts are we have a realistic chance of catching Tranmere/Bournemouth and Yeovil, so why not wait and see what happens instead of admin which will kill our chances.
We may get new owners, we may own the Ricoh, but this time next season we might not be anywhere near 3 points off the play offs.

Agree in the point of would love promotion, but think about this.....We could very well get promoted...We could also have a 15+ points deduction going into the Championship as well. Would it be worth the squad that we've got, getting changed into the kit?....I don't!

Dongle thinks this squad would piss the Championship.

He is mad though.

Stuff that, I want us to win the league.
Had a bet at the start of the season
Manu 5/2
Cardiffe 10/1
Coventry 12/1
Gillingham 25/1
£2.50 accumulater to win the league
= £32.5 thou

theres the 1st rule of betting there !

Dont bet on your own team.

I dont wanna rub it in, but would it be fair to suggest that your 2nd choice in league one would have been the current leaders, Doncaster ?

The only think that will surprise me is if a decision is made by the court on Friday. Look at home many times Pompey and Cardiff have had court dates and then been delayed. My prediction no admin decision this week and we could even play all our games before one is made.

Now imagine winning the play offs and the FL decide to bounce us back 10 points.

sisu were never gonna liqudate the club before end of the season, ACL have timed this in the most pathetic manner

robbing cov fans of an exciting end of the season just because they are scared if we get promoted it might be ahrder to get rid of sisu

I had £20 on us at 66/1 but it isn't going to happen pal, we are just not good enough at this point in time with a full squad never mind one as it is...........depleted with injuries !

I'd rather be in the Championship at the start of next season.

Peoples short-sightedness never fails to astound me. Thank god there are more pragmatic people involved than yourself.

The club becomes more expensive to buy in the Championship... will SISU bankroll a Premiership push?

I would rather new owners with some ambition come in and get the club at a cheaper price and then will finance a move to the big time once more...

If Preston Haskell IV is serious, why don't he buy CCFC and the RICOH outright?

In fairness, rupert bear's source seems to be in the know as he was spot on, he loves football, is minted etc. etc.

Of course you would Torchy. Albeit for the worst season in CCFC history with not a "Snowball in Hell's chance" of staying up with a possible 15+ points deduction and a team that would get totally pissed all over. Then of course Torchy we will be able to sell to those fucking Arab Sheiks that are fighting between themselves to buy CCFC...DOH!:facepalm::facepalm:

yes this is one for the 'long game', we need financial security prior to going up. If I could have a secure owner who owns the ground and club with a decent transfer kitty I would take another season in league one.

I would like and do hope for an exciting end to the season but my head says no chance -

Automatic - no chance

Play offs - 3 of the 4 in that pack each have 2 games in hand

3 home games Doncaster Brentford and Yeovil - top 2 and 6th position against our team with it's home form ?

Away games Pompey Walsall Crawley and Notts ,

10 points is a fair guess ?

I personally reckon we'll finish where we are now.

But of course i'll be over the moon if we finish 6th , Goal difference is promising.

It's Leyton Orient at home, not Yeovil.
