But none coming in. Thoughts today? Gotta be honest finally shipping off Malaga and getting rid of Jennings isn't a bad days work. Imagine now we will bring in at least two players on loan in a weeks time when the window opens...of course whilst i'm celebrating keeping our key players, the sad fact is that if Wilson/Clarke bang them in again in the next few matches, clubs will try come in with a loan transfer with a view to a permanent move...Still, celebrate two pieces of 'dead wood' leaving allowing a few more to come in the next week or so perhaps.

still too early to say either way that no players have come or gone. the deadline has only closed for accepted offers, not all have been announced yet as paperwork is still being completed. so there is still a chance that someone may come in yet.

didn't want to tempt fate by saying that, so if anyone goes now its all your fault and your fault alone and definitely not the NOPM campaigns fault

I'm pleased.
People spouting 'selling club' need to get a grip, all clubs are bar Barca and Real Madrid.
Ideal world we'd have signed a couple of world beaters, but in reality I'm pleased.

Even Real sold Ozil to help pay for the Bale deal.

Not One Peseta More!

Doesn't work really as in the Euro, but fuck it

I am very happy with the way the day has gone. Yes, all clubs sell their players. But to advance your club needs to replace the players sold. We could be lucky this season as Wilson looks an excellent player for this level. I have only seen him play once but the goal he scored was a good controlled finish. He looks to be strong as well as being able to finish. We may have a few prospects coming through but we can't rely on them all being good enough.

Maybe this is the moment that SISU start taking us forward and we get back to where we were when they took over. The wage bill is now much lower. I just hope they can now swallow their pride and bring us back to Coventry. Then there might even be a way of negotiating a reasonable price for the Ricoh if they start being decent owners.

Makes the notion of starving them out look rather absurd this morning.

Best to voice your opinion before the event.
Whether it influenced SISU I doubt it, but at least they knew what the fans wanted.

I'm glad we've stuck to our guns. It sends out a message that we won't be walked over by transfers like we have done in the past, and it would be a shame to break up what is a young and potentially excellent team. I remember a few years ago the Hammers had Joe Cole, Caddick and Lampard as young up and coming players, who played well together since youth academy. Bet they wish they still did! Credit where it's due (through gritted teeth) well done Pressley and the owners. Now move us back to Coventry and I'll lay off for a while.
