My real concerns centre around a combination of the depth in numbers of the squad and the looming winter months. Pressley has built a squad that appears to play quick, decisive, passing football but is thin on the ground even if he gets a couple more in. As we enter the winter months and pitches get heavier so our ability to play the way we are now will be limited and there will be an increasing likelihood of one or two long term injuries occurring. Add to this the poor reputation of the Northampton pitch then I can see no way that we can catch leading pack when there are two or more matches a week being played on it. Having said that I must say that the current squad certainly seems capable of getting us clear of relegation, mid-table will be the best we can hope for but our fortunes will depend heavily on the winter weather.

gain as much wage as possible and sign a quality player and pay it instead of two run of the mill players who are no good and will end up in next seasons "bomb squad"

It's hard to say when quite a few of us haven't seen the team play because of the situation but I'd consider moving Moussa into the centre and bringing in another winger on the left, as I've always felt Moussa is better as an attacking midfielder from a central position

But then I'm not really in a position to say as I haven't seen the team

Didn't Pressley suggest he was looking for a winger? Not sure it's what we need ourselves, especially with us playing with the full backs in an advanced position, and it working.

Unless the winger is a left winger and can defend (unlike Sheffers could).

No I'm in the same boat (going just off third party reports).

I know Fleck gets a lot of stick but I was user the impression he's improved recently and in a more central role.
