I've had a couple ,It's late ,It's something I've mentioned once or twice before but in a slightly different scenario .
First who are the Club? Answer has to be us.
When I've pondered over what is right and fair its always been a point that I felt one way a resolution to this could and should come from a recognition that It is the Pitch we need .Dreams are nice and the rest of it up there could add significantly to the coffers in the future no doubt . But we should be able to manage if we only get the Pitch.
I always thought that ACL paying down the loan in quick time ,less than half of the Term of the lease could possibly enable a benevolent move in the future , naive maybe ,maybe not.
However at this point with the breakdown in the agreement between The Owners and the landlord ,are we at the point for something radical .
It fits with all government Criteria for community stake holding re ;- football Clubs ,their Grounds being reconnected when they become separated ETC .
We have seen the FL and Administrators do deals ,even Drive through deals where the Ground has been denied the Owner (Portsmouth).
We are at the crux ,ACL might be on a hiding ,they may not. SISU conversely may find themselves with a bloody nose .
My thoughts are this ,If ACL see their future Blighted as a result of the owners of the club
not respecting what it feels It has done for the club ,and If the Owners of The Club have sought more than Is Fair or reasonable, the solution has to be the FANS ,through the FANS.
The Time maybe here for ACL to donate Pitch side alone to the fans of the Club .
What or how the deal would fund or could be Cut I'm not certain but there must be some way possible to structure it.
What better way of cutting out the Hedge fund ,imagine 15000 fans having a stake where they drive the Club not the other way .How on earth could the league or SISU deny the Team playing in the CITY at the RICOH under this Model. All ST holders automatically members of the TRUST Paying the Trust a portion of what would normally be ST money ,covering whatever Minimum rent ,match day cost, or purchase payment is required and sufficient to get a deal . The Owners then having to pay nothing to play in the /stadium but reduce ST's accordingly . How on earth under that scenario could they back out without exposing themselves as out and out Charlatans.:facepalm:
