THORN OUT! HOPELESS! 3 POINTS WAS A MINIMUM REQUIREMENT! HOW CAN ANYONE DEFEND THAT PERFORMANCE AGAINST THE FAVOURITES TO WIN THE LEAGUE?!!?

Or

WERE GONNA WIN THE LEAGUE! NO ONE WILL STAND IN OUR WAY! ALL WILL FALL BEFORE THE FORCE THAT IS COVENTRY CITY!

I'll stick with "it's only the 2nd game of the season so the jury is still out" if you don't mind

Win 5-0 or lose 5-0 it doesn't mean too much. Look at man utd tonight, they will finish above Everton but early on anything can happen don't judge till 12 ames

Tomorrow is no big deal as far as thorn is concerned. However defeat against Bury and he will be looking at another career.

People are already twitchy now and we've only played one game so it'll be a blood bath if we lose.

We are home so I always feel confident we will win. I might not have the same opinion after 15 minutes, I just hope the team turn up tomorrow and also a few more fans.

*Wayne's World style swirly imaginary dive into a possible future*
1SBTer: Carsley out! He has no experience, he was in charge when we were relegated to Blue Square North (or South).
2SBTer: Give him time, he had his hands tied by Sisu cutting costs after we were dumped into the conference for being locked out of our ground for non-payment of rent.

And so the world spins on...

Given that by some freak of geography Oxford City have been put in BSN, unless there's a major resurgence in Northern non-league football, we can bank on being in BSN

Just don't see this expectation of a win and it being a minimum requirement. Really don't. Of course we should be going into the game to win, but we have no right to expect the team to win.

If we draw against one of the favourites for the title that would be 2 games in and 2 games unbeaten. We then beat Bury on Saturday and things would all look pretty good wouldn't they?

A lot depends on us...the support we show. A good turn out tonight will go a long way to building confidence in the team. PUSB

I think give thorn 10 games, if we aren't in the top 8. Then he should go. If he goes then the role can be raffled off each week so one of the fans can have a go, all raising money for the club......sorry sisu

The attitude of the players is what is important tonight. I want to see them fighting for the ball and showing some passion.

That way if they do lose at least we can come away in the knowledge that we would beat most other teams in the league playing like that.
