I read it up on the official fa rules website. The competition is treated separately from the FA normal disciplinary rules so Willis' red card DOES NOT carry over to the semi final.

Just read up on the EFL offal. Says the Checkatrade is treated uniquely and normal suspensions do not carry through to this competition and it is only suspensions in this competition itself that are relevant.

The will be another game where we end up with 10 men, cos by the end of 90 mins Akinfenwa will have swallowed him up.

Either that, or at some point they will go up for a corner, Akinfenwa will land on him and Harries will disappear completely.

Andy Rose to me could offer far me than he does. DKE shows more physical attributes to the game than Rose does. A waste of size and presence. I'd happily sell now to try and do some business as he will leave for free in months anyway.

As I said, I liked him when he first came, but we have been carrying him for the last few games and he is contributing almost zero to the team.

Good news - but if this is true then why was Stevenson suspended for the Crawley Checkatrade game?

I've seen him play and unfortunately I agree with you Grendel. The way Rose plays reminds me a bit of Connor Thomas. He's an athlete, but not a footballer. Rose and Gadzhev have been big disappointments in mid-field. And we've lost McCann and maybe about to lose Stevenson. Only Reilly has joined so far, so getting some quality mid-fielder(s) must be a top priority, along with a big striker of course. If Stokes isn't going to be fit very soon, then we need a left back too. Bloody hell.

From what i've seen of Slade so far, i think we'd have more chance of staying up with Fisher as manager. I can't see any form of Tactics at all. No Style of play, Reilly is worse than Bigi and offers absolutely nothing. He won't use Jodi Jones who is probably the only player we have with a small bit of pace who can beat a man. He has actually made us worse. The performance at home against Fleetwood was so pathetic it was untrue and against Swansea was barely much better. Glad i missed the weekend as once again it sounded like we didn't even test their keeper. I can't see what the guy is trying to achieve. There seems to be no plan. I can't see us winning another game all season never mind the 10 we would need to survive.

If we got a couple of players in to 'gell' the team maybe we would see a few wins but after cutting Slade some slack I am less convinced of his abilities as a manager
