No positional sense.
No pace.
No fight.
No imagination.
Too predictable.
Gutless performance.
No points.
.....and that was just Slades interview.

How on earth does the guy interviewing on cwr even get that job asks questions nobody cares for and is too scared to ask questions the fans would say. Always sounds like he's falling asleep and don't know what to ask pathetic!

1st period wasnt great
couple of errors at the back to give them chances and they scored them

unfortunate to not get something out of it.

Err, did no-one ask Slade if he felt his position as manager was now in doubt?

Surely that had to be one of the first and obviously most important questions that needed asking.

Jeff Foster never asks the obvious questions, and to make matters worse he pretty much agreed with everything Slade said

If it's not about shape and tactics, what the fuck are we paying him for?

Give CWR a break, we know that anyone that isn't 100% supportive of the club gets banned, they aren't about to roast the guy. Foster is unbelievably shit though.

There's a huge different between roasting him and just asking him questions though.

I know, I've said myself simple stuff like "What's happening with X injured player?" would be a massive improvement. Like I said, Foster is shit. Just seems like some would like him to go "Well that was shit wasn't it you c**t? What you gonna do to sort it out? Tell Fisher he's a nob"

It would be funny though wouldn't it.

I'd personally like him to be led info a false sense of security.

"how do you think it went russell, second half was good wasn't it?"
"yes, we really played well second half".
"So can you explain the awful situation throughout the first half which lost us the game. The 2 sloppy goals we gifted them and pretty much ruled out any chance of us getting anything from this game even with a decent second half".

"the game went a bit flat after the goal didnt it russell"
"yes it did les" (even if it isnt les, like the other week")
"was it anything to do with the opposing manager spotting their weakness and making a change which therefore nullified our attack again"

Just lead them in a bit, then drop it on them for their reaction.

Foster is utterly crap ... he asks virtually the same set of questions every game.
"So what are the positives you take from the performance?"
"You're hoping for an improved performance in the next game?"
Mind you ... he's not as bad as Alan Poole who ended every sentence with the ubiquitous "sort of thing".

Just out of interest Nick, what was inaccurate in what you've quoted Slade saying there?

That's the only line we need to hear. The bloke is a joke. He's essentially a Sunday league manager. It wouldn't surprise me if they work on throwing the ball down the line in training. A Sunday league staple.

Hill told me that Slade dropped you in Sunday league for the blind bloke with 1 leg because he was better. Hence the bitterness.
