Yesterday was his 29th for ccfc in all competitions this season.
It's got 2 reserve games for Newcastle listed.

Russel Slade should hang his head extremely low because he couldn't have done a worse job as Coventry manager.

At no point have I ever felt that Slade had the ability or intelligence to get the most out of the players. He's never felt like a long-term appointment and he was a completely uninspiring choice. Yes the players are shit but even office-bitch Venus got a few wins in charge.

Slade's undoubtedly made us worse and I think looking back we should have given him the sack after 6/7 games...maybe a month to month contract should be looked in the future...

I feel relieved. When appointed he seemed a common sense kind of guy, likable and had experience in this league. Sounded convincing and then his team selections and tactics simply got worse and he had no answers to our predicament. We must try again and its no good appointing inexperience such as Ricketts. We need the hunger restoring so we can compete in league 2. How about those brothers?

One final thought...we should call time on Oggy now too. This club needs a flush out.

I have it on good authority that Vardy led a players revolt to get rid of him

He should of been sacked weeks ago,
When we still had a chance of escape.

Agree with paxman, Oggy has been useless as goalie coach. Your time is up!

No choice really, Slade seemingly a good honest guy simply didn't have the tools personally or in the club to deal with our crisis. He had to go

For Bigi his stats are...
In the league was in the match day squad 27 times, started 19 games subbed on 2 times.
Efl trophy was in the match day squad 7 times, started 4 games, subbed on 2 times unused sub 1 time.
FA cup was in the match day squad 2 times, started 2 times.
Total of 29 appearances. 25 starts, 4 as a sub

Agreed. I don't want to mock Slade as a person but I just think he's been a disaster for us and made a bad situation even worse.

As with Oggy, as a GK coach and when he was manager of the U18 team, I've never heard anything good about him. Kept signing brummies and heard from two seperate parties that bullying was rife in the age group he looked after. Solved it by sending out letters to parents saying, please tell your children not to swear.

We need to cleanse the club and fuck the sentiments.

from CET:

As for Slade, his record means he’ll go down as one of the worst managers in the club’s history, second only to William Clayton who was City’s first manager in the Football League back in 1919 who lost his first seven games before being sacked.

Slade’s woeful reign is slightly tempered by the fact that he oversaw City’s safe passage to the Arch during three qualifying games to give the supporters their first big day out at the national stadium for 30 years. For that, at least, we should be grateful.

Yep.

Unfortunately I heard the very same thing. Very poor morale in the academy when Oggy was in charge. Ill feeling and a disruptive atmosphere about the place.

Shame.
