I know this should probably go in in the other forum but it's doing my head in and this one gets more traffic.

TLDR version :
I've lost my skybluestalk most visited button (I think that's what they are called) off of the Google chrome android app, has this happened to anyone, does anyone know how to get it back?

Long winded version:
Not entirely sure how this happened. Best guess is I think I accidentally clicked offline mode at some point which meant it would save pages from SBT to read offline. I never needed that feature. It signifyed this by displaying a blue tick next to the most visited button. This was bugging me all week as I couldn't work out how to shift it. Petty annoyance got the better of me so I long held the SBT button and then clicked remove. I've done this other sites before and it usually means it goes away but will reappear when you revisit the site a few times and it bumps back up your popular vists.

Nope not this time.

I've been trying to get it back all week but no luck it's gone. Its totally bugging me. I have to manually type in the address or look up a bookmark.

I am far to lazy and set in my ways to take this minor inconvenience lightly.

Think that weird episode of Breaking Bad when Walt and Jessie get distracted by that fly. Well this is my life currently. I just want my SBT button back

I've googled fixes but it's really hard to find the relevant advice. What's out there is mostly for desktop versions or halfway through reading a long thread realise the site was last updated in 2016. Also doesn't help that I'm not 100% sure "most visited button" is the correct terminology.

I've tried obvious stuff like:
Turning off and on
Updating firmware
Deleting site data/cookies

I'm stumped

Any help would be great, thank you

Ok so one easy and similar option is to go onto the SBT home page, then click the share button on the bottom toolbar. Then select the ‘Read Later’ option, and the site will be stored in your easily accessible Reading List.

Orher than that, it’ll be a case of just keep visiting SBT and eventually it should reapppear in your Google suggestions

Cheers but I'm on android.
Starting to think it's a either a glitch or I've put it on some blocked list. It's the only site that won't appear even with repeat visits

Does it work OK when you browse manually?

I just use Tapatalk as it's so much easier.

Yeah fine, just annoying to have to go through an extra layer.

Nothing wrong SBT end. Definitely something I did in Chrome

Is this any good?

Also even though my accounts are linked across devices it has only effects my mobile. Works fine on PC

I'll give some of those a go but I think that's more focused on the Windows version

It’s based on what you go on so if you delete what’s there and go on SBT a lot it should reappear. Make sure you’ve not got it saved as a bookmark as apparently chrome doesn’t show bookmarked sites there.

Slight workaround but you can add SBT to your home screen (so it looks like another app)

Just go to the website in your browser, press the 3 dots when your on the page you want to land on every time (General discussions for example) and then press "Add to Homescreen"

Not quite the same but still a shortcut

Just use Safari. That does have a shortcuts bar you can customise.
