But they don't want to do a deal do they, all they've ever wanted is complete control of the whole shebang !!

Yes that would be it. 20k wanting 11k tickets. The price would have to double.

Then If SISU were true to their mission and we went up again?

I take it SISU have the 25 million sitting there to build it as well. Meaning they will have then spent 85 million on the club (according to them)
Chances of selling the club for more than 85 million?

Fisher will say the council didn't help us, acl didn't help us, Higgs didn't help us and now the fans didn't help us!

Cunning plan.

Forgot, In response to the OP yes,no doubt this will be used to paint the trust in a poor light, maybe they should have said yes and learned a little more of TF's intentions and then just reneged on the contract .

Nope the hair brained plan if they are serious is to kidnap the club to another city or town. Hold it for ransom hoping they can come back to the Ricoh on their own terms.

At which point I hope Haskell puts a new team in the Ricoh and screws SISU over all ends.

Actually the plan is to have no plan and make it up as you go along.

A point of interest that's more important than Sisu moving the club out of the country is that Tim Fisher has appeared for the first time since admin.

So it took Fisher over a month to come up with this genius ploy to ask fans as part of a consultation period to move out of Coventry.

That man has a brain no mere mortal could compete with.

...and I thought Ken Tango Man was amazing....

That's because they don't use much petrol when you've got to push them everywhere.

Could always tell when a Talbot was coming, you could hear the tappets from 200 yards.

So that would be SISU (in all but name) saying the council, the stadium owners, a Coventry charity with an interest, and the clubs fans don't like them and still they don't get the message .

Don't see what people are getting so upset about.

Most have been using the tired analogy of "If I can't pay the rent on my house, I can expect to get evicted"

The obvious answer to "If I can't pay the rent because it's too expensive, I'll move somewhere I can afford to pay the rent".

Analogies are shit though, never takes long for Godwin's Law to appear once they start.

Guess everyones entitled to their own opinion but to even consider moving our club from the RICOH should be met with the contempt it deserves.Anybody who now says a positive word about sisu ( if there is one )just think before you do.They are trying to move your club from your city. And they say they are doing it for the long term benefit of the club??pull the other one .

He hasn't said he wants to build a new stadium. He says he wants to move to a stadium outside Coventry. My guess an existing stadium - presumably in irthlingborough.

fans cannot possibly take a view unless they have an idea how far out of Coventry he is talking about nor how easy it will be to get to.

I can take a view, no sodding move, not ever. This is COVENTRY CITY FOOTBALL CLUB, the clue is in the name!

You are right far too many analogies on here all I will say to SISU is fools stand on their island of opportunities and look longingly towards other lands.

If, for the sake of argument, 100% of CCFC fans spoke with one voice and fans' representative groups told the FL/FA that we will not attend home games outside Coventry, under the present circumstances, could the FL/FA be persuaded to take the Golden share off the current owners and give it to a new entity: Trust/ACL/new backers?

We, as fans, can only influence decisions by refusing to take any more of this nonsense.
If the club folds and has to re-form, so be it.
How much more humiliation are we expected to stomach?

At least Fisher and SISU are at least listening to the fans and planning to get out of Coventry, just not getting the fact that its not their club to move its the fans club.

What a complete tool Fisher is.

I see the idea is to move away from the city to earn even less revenue than we do now. Great! What a brilliant plan......

Well timmy it certainly unites the fans in their contempt for you, will empty your pockets, and makes you look like the knuckle headed chimp that you clearly are. Seriously where did SISU get this clown from?

No. I think the Trust should be engaging with the football club. It wants to bridge the gap between the club and supporters and to have a supporter voice.

The trust should be at least willing to have some discussions with the club on this to explore the reasoning, the overall plan (I.e how temp is the move), what the pros and cons of the move, before saying thanks but no thanks.

Didn't ACL reject approaches from CCFC to renegotiate rent? Would it not appear that CCFC have been pushed into this?

No email either and I’ve been a member for years. But Iwould want the Trust to ask Mr Fisher whether this is a long or short termplan. Short term would be bearable for the benefit of the club. Long term wouldnot be acceptable.

And if they said 'short term' you would believe them?

We move it will be long term. Absolutely no doubt about it. They will have burned their bridges with ACL and there's no way the council will allow them to build another stadium in Coventry.

We move out I think we would be looking at at least 3 seasons minimum.

He is merely a puppet, seppala is the puppet master. Don't know if this has been said already, apologies if it has, but this fits in with the plan to distress ACL, along with the court action against the council, they will, IMO be hoping the court finds in their favour and then it's back to the original plan of waiting for ACL to go tits up. You can then expect to see Timmy riding into the Ricoh on a white charger.

does anyone else think fisher is just doing this to get acl's back up... he knows damn well nobody wants to move but if he contacts the trust he knows they will post on here and he also knows pwkh reads this forum... in my opinion this is just another slight of hand by sisu to try and force acl's hand ..

After they reneged on the 400k deal! You explain to me how moving out of the city and building a new ground will save them money on that offer, will you?
