No email either and I’ve been a member for years. But Iwould want the Trust to ask Mr Fisher whether this is a long or short termplan. Short term would be bearable for the benefit of the club. Long term wouldnot be acceptable.

Shame on you Edgy, you can't credibly believe anything these liars report anymore surely. They are merely trying a new angle to distress ACL by removing the club for a few years. They don't want CCFC they purely want that slice of CV6 and God forbid then see the rent charges levied against the club !!

Should create a members only poll, so much easier rather than counting emails

What, that I want the trust to ask questions of the club about their plans?

Then yes I'm serious.

I was actually going to suggest the trust Set up a vote (perhaps it can be done on here as well (plus GMK) Asking whether you would follows the football club if it decided to move homes...... That way on this issue they can actually represent the majority of fans rather than some people who have paid a quid.

If ever there were proof that Sisu are hell bent on destroying club this is it.
Cov is home to Ccfc. This is our club - we need to keep it in the city. This would be a nightmare scenario.

Given that you support the club and not the owners, do you support a move which will see crowds plummet (as if that weren't physically possible), purely to spite ACL or indeed any prospective owner?

You are as mad as they are. they have a ground they can play in IN COVENTRY they are talking about playing in a ground OUTSIDE COVENTRY they cant make money so they say IN COVENTRY so how are they going to make money from playing in a ground OUTSIDE COVENTRY.They obviously haven't got any plans this proves that SISU rely on luck in making their money rather than any expertise.

I'd like to know where I said anything other than yes, I support the Trust's stance but yes, I'd like them to take this opportunity to ask the club about its plans, and why this makes me crazy!

CCFC Chief Executive Tim Fisher has told the Trust that the club is working on plans to play home matches at a venue outside Coventry. He has asked the Trust to assist in this planning process. The Trust Board strongly believes that CCFC must play its home games in Coventry and calls upon all parties to get together and negotiate a deal to play at our home, the Ricoh Arena, next season.
Therefore the Trust Board’s stance is to refuse to co-operate with CCFC on any plans for moving the club’s home games from Coventry – do you support the Boards stance in this?

Yes / No

This is actually quite embarrassing if he thinks that this is the way forward.
Also that he thought the trust may back him!
Also that it was such an important idea he just sent an email rather than meeting in person to try and sell the idea.
Utter rubbish

It is quite obviously Yes. All this talk of polls, the telegraph run one, think is 97.% of season ticket holder won't renew if we move out of Coventry. There have been several polls on here with similar feedback. I would suggest the Trust point Tim Fisher and his bitch to those. Nose and face really come to mind.

I do. Speculation as in the sentence "They don't want CCFC they purely want that slice of CV6 and God forbid then see the rent charges levied against the club !!" Fact or speculation? Which is why I wrote those three words so not sure why you mention stuff about "plummeting crowds and spiting ACL". What's that got to do with what I posted?

You often talk about backing the club's stance over the owners. Given that word from the horse's mouth is about plans to relocate I wanted to know if you were in favour of it despite the serious consequences of doing so.

No, I'm not in favour of moving. I don't think we will. If you want to know anything else just ask.

If the club move elsewhere, they'll get even less revenue than they do now. Pick any ground where we might go, we're going to have to pay rent...maybe not as much as The Ricoh but still pay rent. We're also not going to get any car parking or food outlet revenues...or very little anyway. Think about it...if you're the decision maker of somewhere like St Andrews, the Bescott or any smaller ground, are you going to say to CCFC 'yeah, fine, we'll charge you rent and give you all parking and food revenue'? No chance.

The whole saga is desperate.

Oh to have a new owner, a council that would support the club, no complicated management structure in place to manage stadium finances/ownership, actually own our club etc etc....

I would support this action IF there is one point SISU accept. They must have a long term plan. It's no good saying we do this for a few seasons and then go back. SISU must start building a stadium in, for example, Ryton on the old car plant. It's near the training ground and near to the City.

You might not be too far off the mark , I was told something similar a couple of weeks ago from someone who I would class as a " reliable source "

I've heard the Ryton rumour too. Planning app being prepared I was told. Could just be Chinese whispers though. Had enough of it all now. Just hope common sense prevails.

The hypocrisy of it all is unbelievable.

Seriously? Move out of Coventry? How is that going to provide a sustainable business model?

One would think that the obvious end game is eventually to come back and negotiate a deal for the Ricoh. perhaps they would but perhaps ACL/Council insiders have made it clear they will no longer offer the stadium to CCFC (ie SISU)? This could be the reason. The Council/ACL would do this like SISU before them and against them did, to push forward the destruction of SISU's ownership of the football club.
All sounds a little like conspiracy chatter right? I can't think of any other reason SISU would consider a move elsewhere otherwise. So if we are in the JPT semi again where would you put 30k+ people?

Clearly the nonsense just keeps coming. May I offer my services to bang a few heads together from all sides?

If they couldn't get planning permission for houses on the site of the training ground, they won't get plans for a sodding great football stadium.

Nowhere else to build either, the old Peugeot's nearly ready to re-open as warehouse space.
