I've been quite critical of the decision to play eccles at right wb, but when you consider he is a central midfielder that has had the job of facing up to Brereton dias, chair and sarr, fair play to him

I’d never thought of it in that way, always rated Eccles but definitely in CM. Fair play to the lad

Was really worried about his mentality at the start of the season but seeking the ball a lot more and playing well fair play!

What if you’ve already made your mind up on Eccles though after 15 minutes of his first game?
Bit of a tricky one. He’ll have a bad game soon though so we can revisit this thread then.

I'm happy to say i thought he was awful against Bristol city.

Last few games he's been a completely different player and hasn't looked out of place at all.
