Hi lads,

Big fan of your forums - congratulations to all involved.

My name is Robert Gorman and I am the deputy editor of
www.NononsenseFootball.com

Your club's section on our website requires its Ultimate Legend!

We are asking all posters on these forums to vote for your club's
Ultimate Legend. The vote will occur right here over the next seven
days when we will collate the findings and add the name of your
official ultimate club legend to our website.

All the contributors to these forums have to do is post the name of
the person they feel is the club's biggest legend in its entire
history in this thread.

The ultimate legend will be a player or manager who has represented
the club at any stage throughout its existence.

I am very grateful for your cooperation to this project as we search
for your club icon that will be listed forever on our new website on
your club's homepage.

Please enter the name of the person you feel deserves the title as
your club's "Ultimate Legend" below.

Many thanks,

Robert

Jimmy Hill.

For the club's 'ultimate legend', no-one else comes close.

I had a feeling Jimmy Hill will sweep this one, though I've noticed with a lot of clubs its all down to generations and people are choosing players they have seen instead of players of yester year, good to see a clash of opinions if they come!

I know what Jimmy Hill did for the club, but I can't relate to it because I've never seen that success in my lifetime! Mine would be Oggy.

As kg82 said...Jimmy Hill wasnt in my era but I understand what he did for the club so it has to be him.

That and i cant decide who i would pick as the ultimate legend so ill stick with Jimmy Hill!

Actually, if it pisses off the Sunderland fans a bit more with a unanimous verdict, I'll go for Jimmy Hill too!
