Why would there be trouble? if your a Coventry fan at the game why would you punch a wolves fan where there are targets so much more deserving?

Why punch anyone at all? Why the need for violence? It doesn't solve anything.

They've got no fucking chance of keeping wolves fans out of the ground.....

Yeah, I reckon they'll be flooded with tanked up Wolves fans without tickets trying to buy on the gate, it is very likely there will be some trouble.

Last home game of the season at the Ricoh against Wolves, easily 25k and yes just for you Torch around 6 to 7k Wolves fans but what difference that makes I dont know fact is, it would have been a bloody good last game.

Just allocate Wolves the home stands and Cov the away end, 1 full house to end the season.

How embarrassing would that be? It would certainly make the news.

didnt suggest it did, nor am I condoning violence, just there has been multiple posts in this thread about the potential for trouble and I was just saying if you were a coventry fan at sixfields some random wolves fan is nothing compared to the villains running our club so why would you be more likely to hurt someone at this match than at any other home game?

I'm fairly certain that there is a lower limit (i.e a minimum) number of tickets that you have to offer to the away club, but is there a maximum specified anywhere?

Interested to know how this Is going to b e segregated ,am guessing they will be given both goal ends .
The side under construction reduces capacity by around 2K. so the Max attendance can only be 5-5.5K,main stand 4K?

I know they're doing work, just seems a bit odd to do it in the middle of the season and cause a stand to be closed. If they can do that it implies they don't need the capacity which makes extending the ground a strange plan.

We've waited long enough for this redevelopment so were happy it's finally happening full stop. I take your point about the capacity but the redevelopement is more about the club making money from the corporate boxes and the hotel that's going to be built than the 3,000 or so extra seats.

Also if we ever do get back up to league 1,(which obviously seems a bit farfetched now but nearly happened in May we probably would need the extra seats for some games. Apparently the last time we were there we could have sold double the amount of away tickets for the Forest and Leicester games if we'd had the capacity.

I can see it now.

90th min, Leon clarke gets a pen and needs to score to put Wolves up and Coventry get an extra £250k if he scores.

CCFC playing in Northampton, sell league top scorer and our owners hoping he scores against us to get extra money.

If the Club think that Wolves fans will stop at 2,000 then they're mistaken I am afraid.

Looks as though wolves fans will be in cov stand. Lets get this opposite boycott going and get 10000 down there.

I've avoided Wolves forums so I don't get annoyed, then I avoided clicking on the link so I don't get annoyed. But I end up getting annoyed anyway because someone posts what has been said on there. Cheers.

I think if they get promoted at this game they will be everywhere.
The hill will be full. Does the stand that gets knocked down provide more spaces on the hill?

Yeah it does. When they knock buildings down they just let people wander about on the rubble.
It's the same with football stands too.

Sorry Hill but I find it very distateful and damn right wrong that people would have these ideas, yet it dawns on me that really I shouldn't be surprised.

well, its happening already
....................................

Just bought a ticket in the West Stand. 2 stands are definitely not for sale as 1 of the stands is getting/will be knocked down and the South Stand is for away fans. There are NO RESTRICTIONS ON SALES at the moment. All you have to do is register and you can buy up to 8 tickets. GET ON IT NOW before they suss what's happening. Try not to use a Black Country address, bit too obvious.
.................................

I bought our 6 tickets this way last week. Used an address with a Staffordshire post code just to be safe.
............................

Tickets from Coventry arrived this morning.

I would suggest anybody else who wants them to register and order asap, before Coventry realise whats happening. There's 12 in our group now got tickets.
It's very easy to do.

Surely the Club will think "We are getting more home fans than usual at Sixfields?" and catch on.

They'll pretend to care, but gleefully count the £££

Let them have the ground!

I'm aware that SISU aren't directly running things like this but why is everything to do with the club such a complete shambles.

Because sisu employed lackeys are running the club.

Sisu don't know how to succeed at anything.

Thinking about it anyone who's good at their job has probably gone elsewhere, such as Dan Walker and not been replaced so with a smaller staff and all the best staff gone this is the sort of mess we end up with.

I'll be using my CCFC online shop account to make my first purchase of the season for this match. I'll be buying as many main stand tickets as I can for all my Wolves supporting friends and their friends.
