Does anyone know if there has been an official Sky Blues Talk forums member meet up?

We all love the Sky Blues and the thing that pisses me off about social media is that everyone loves talking online but not in real life.

Maybe we could arrange a meet up in the Casino or a pub before a game sometime?

We could wear name badges as well haha!

Hhhmmm that would make for an interesting night!! Doubt one or two people wouldn't want to meet given some of the exchanges on this forum, lol.

Hire the Jaguar Hall.

over 4200 members now. Unless 400 have 10 names of course. In whch case we could use a smaller venue.

How about the casino before matches.

Grendel, Andy Thorn, CJ and myself meet up every Sunday. The rest of you are welcome to join us if you want.

We tend to start in Earlsdon and usually finish the night off at Heat in the small hours.

Nothing is set in stone though if anyone wants to change the itinerary

Sensitive sorts behind a keyboard ! Get a load of SBT members in a room having a beer and talking about the club and everyone would get on like a house on fire. I'd be up for meeting before / after a game. Let me know well in advance though so I can book a travel lodge

you can't go either then unless you have a ticket stub from 1950.If you are a OAP you get in for only a fiver.while others pay £2.50.
OAP's pay more cause they get disablilty allowance and a pension!!!!

I think it would be great. A hell of a lot of people would get found out to be completely full of shit and the rest of us would get on.

I'd say most of us on this forum are pragmatic and reasonable, with only a small few who are full of shit.

I would like a meet up as keen to know who some of you are, but get the feeling a lot on here are not local so difficult to organise.
We all have different views but one thing in common, we follow the same team. From what I understand a few other forum groups (from other clubs) do have meet ups.

Have found out who a few are by meetings by chance or actually asking, others seem to want to remain shadows but that's all part of a forum. I also think that Mr Fisher, CCFC, ACL and the media use this forum under different names.

Sounds like a great idea.

Maybe best though for everyone to bring a crash helmet and a pair of boxing gloves.

It would be interesting to see how slimline some of the folk are who have been quick to make reference to Thorn's ample waist over the months....

Sky Blue Trust are having an open meeting in Lady G's at the Casino at 6pm prior to the JPT game on Tuesday - all welcome from here to meet up and join in the discussion of how the Trust would like to see the future of the club, including fan participation and ownership. Like the idea of putting real names and faces to keyboard names, come along should be an interesting and informative meeting - ALL WELCOME
