It isn't actually Northampton Reserves though is it?

The diamond club isn't the only part of the club either, SBIC is still doing stuff, the Academy is still in Coventry.

Maybe as ex players they could use their status to help some how?

What do you expect a 78 year old ex City player to do Nick?

Can't the trust organise something at an away game? Put them a coach on? I'd chip on for a coach for loads of them, along with oap.fans or disabled people who can't get to sixfields

Hi Nick
This is an excellent idea and more than happy pursue with others on SBT.
I would also be happy to to chip in and help out.
Walsall away would be an ideal game due to that club they have, the only game left this season that's not to far away and easy to get enough tickets for is Peterborough.
The only issue I can see us how do we contact these people?

Let's take this forward Nick, more than happy to help organise it.

Good for Ron Farmer, Dietmar and Willy Humphries (my favourite player as a kid).
Tell the truth and show Sisu up for what they are.

I'd gladly pay for one of the ex players to go ticket and transport couple of pints

We could book a hotel and have a lunch before the game then everyone could meet these former players, believe me there are done real characters .
Let them feel special, they love talking to supporters about the old times and football.
We could get them to the venue, arrange to pick them up outside and get them all home.

I think it's we who should feel special to spend some time with the ex players!

Because there is nothing to mock here. All genuine concerns by people that are already in the public eye, ex players.
Not some bollocks attention seeking love letter from nobody.

Do you want people to come into this thread and mock it? I certainly don't.

What utter shite. No difference between the two. What, because he's a celebrity his POV is more valid than a pleb?

What crap. Both City fans, both deserve their say.

Natalie cox was often in the local media.

Its obvious this is media attention seeking.

She always comes across as condescending and smug. The issue never seems that important - just Natalie's view on it.

You mean as chair of the largest CCFC fans organisation she was in the media a lot? Like Steve and Jan are now you mean?

More to do with your personal dislike of her than any actual point I feel.

And you don't come across as condescending and smug ? don't make me laugh, your the master at it.

For once why don't you try not to hijack every thread with your shite, quite frankly I'm not interested in anything you have to say.

To be fair, you don't really see Steve in the media.

If it is the person who was involved in the trust, she did like the sound of her own voice without actually thinking about what she was saying.

I remember at the time she liked to push her views and make them sound like she spoke for the fans. Steve and Jan don't do that.

That's odd because you've commented on one of my posts so by definition you are interested. Me, on the other hand, I've cant remember a single one if your posts.

These ex players aren't attention seeking. Simple as that.

That's nonsense. How many trust members were there when the walking ego ran it? Steve and Jan clearly have passion for the club and want to do the right thing. The right thing isn't appearing every week in the CET to raise you personal profile or writing attention seeking rubbish - can you see jan writing that letter?
