Just noticed Gilbert's status on here, Telegraph tea boy. Very good.

Exactly, they would charge people watching on Sky if they could. There would be no way they wouldn't sell every single seat if they could.

I don't see the need for all the heavies, unless they are expecting some sort of protest etc?

There's certainly going to be 'SISU OUT' mania; but what the hell do a couple of blocks make? All the others will be shouting it, so there's no big difference from a couple of blocks of empty seats. I can certainly see no issue between Coventry and Gillingham fans though - so little stewarding necessary; if anything, most fans have been incredibly supportive of our plight, and if anything, they'd join in.

If there is necessity for empty seats to accommodate 'heavies' it should be close to the director's boxes. Like many clubs, we have our fair share of idiots, and an early finish on Fridays for many, permitting an afternoon in the pub, and some of the passion against our current owners might not be an attractive mix

That's the thing, there have been a few "theories" that they want to keep the attendance low to save face about something and what is the difference going to be? That would have been believable if they limited the game to 10k.

We have always had a silly massive gap with away fans at the Ricoh
