Sorry to hear that, what sort of business were you in ?! I had to close my own business after nearly 14 years in 2011 and for what it's worth I know MMM had a tough time closing a business a few years ago too so we all have a bit more in common than we think !!!

Hill I have no idea where you get the photos from but keep them coming...its good to laugh amongst the fall outs!
I don't want to give the game away, but for this one I searched "it's a conspiracy' on google.
True. My condolences for anyone who's found themselves in a similar position.
I imported machinery from Japan for over a decade. A delegation flew in and told me they were setting up their own business. You're buggered - there's nothing you can do. Yes, there are legal avenues open to you, but if you can't afford to pursue them, they're useless. I was facing a multi-billion dollar business, and therefore didn't even get out of the starting blocks. At the time I had an AMG S55, RS6 and a Range Rover. Had to sell them and the family home to pay redundancies and the bank.
My advice - for what it's worth? Keep plugging away and believe in yourself. Dust yourself down, get your head high and get straight back in the saddle. Until you get back to that better place, you genuinely have my sympathy

I closed my business in 2010 but sounds like nothing to the scale of yours. I was lucky and probably just set myself back financialy about 8 years managed to settle debts without effecting my house though or borrowing more.
I was also buying a Japanese product and selling it in the UK. It was the exchange rate that fucked me after the market crashes. When the yen became strong against the pound overnight I had no margin to be competitive and make a profit.
Is it that obvious?
To be fair, I was winging it a bit on my second point. I've never been particularly clued up on these matters. It's probably why my business has just gone under (that and the fact I spend most of my day on SBT talking shizzle).
Of course he is, he's a lawyer. That doesn't mean he has acted illegally or has been in any way negligent. Why would his risk his reputation and career to serves the interests of one client? It is nonsense.
If they want to dispel all gossip and show themselves to be reliable owners of this club i would think so italiahorse. But he has done just his basic job. There are questions to be answered between SISU taking over and him being bought in as administrator.
He answered that he had seen nothing wrong from when he took over the administration and he is correct. If SISU positioned themselves in respect of players, registrations, golden share etc pre administration we do not know either way. This may include not submitting accounts so information was not available, also not illegal.
Still too many questions not answered. Surely SISU would want this information made available to put to bed any conspiracy theories ........ wouldn't they ???
Yes true. SISU as history suggests aren't showing regards for rules and regulations, however stating that they have an influence on certain bodies beyond their control is a huge guess to make, one which is incorrect.
I know we are a little off topic.
But there is a few of us who have ran a business and know what sort of day to day costs are involved.
But for the life of me it is impossible for me to see how Sisu can turn this round without a return to the Ricoh !!!
which 1 do they fit ?Try looking after your customers and as far as possible give them what they want
Charge a reasonable price for the product/service
Know when to get out.
Otherwise you are struggling
I think SISU get 1 out of 3 (And no im not anti SISU, not particulary in favour either though)
My joke may have seemed a little insensitive after reading what happened MMM, but having been through the wringer myself, I always think if you can retain your sense of humour, then not everything is lost...
I was "done the dirty on" by my co-owner in a business, who was also a "friend" .... Amazing surprise to find out someone you've known for many years as a colleague and friend, and trusted enough to go into business with, turns out to be a complete stranger, and evil bastard...
Thankfully, it all turned out alright in the end. I started a new business that went from strength to strength, while the "old" business failed and died. Thankfully, i'm not a vindictive sort, and as it happened almost 20 years ago it's water well under the bridge. However, if he ever appeared in front of my car, i'm not sure my braking foot would feel the same..!!
which 1 do they fit ?
The news that they still haven't filed accounts returns me to my point of last week. Even if you leave aside the previous machinations, personalities and conflicts of this dispute and even if you completely forget Sisu's ownership record both on and off the pitch the fundamental question is:
'Should Coventry City Council consider selling a multi-million pound asset (how many millions is open to interpretation) to a company that hasn't filed accounts with Companies House?'
The Council have to act dispassionately, remove the fact that this involves Coventry City football club (as many non-football fan council tax payers would) and the conclusion is clear, Sisu cannot even be entertained as being fit owners.
The question is why are the accounts so late ? Could they be hiding something ? Are they having to wait for the liquidation ? Are they worried that if the accounts are filed before CCFC are liquidated any assets that have been moved will have to be moved back ? Who knows? Is it skullduggery or incompetance ?
There's no reason at all for Otium to have not filed accounts, they company has never done anything! Decent account could get those submitted in a very short space of time.
Give me strength.
This sort of conspiratorial guff is up there with Planet X, faked moon landings and shape-shifting lizard people. It is embarrassing.
