Here's the first part of what looks like an interesting run down of the teams in the division from a fan of a club which has a bit more experience in it. The assessment of our team seemed fairly well informed - but I was a bit shocked to see us tipped for first!

Unrealistic or are too many of us too used to failure to consider the possibility that we might be right up there?

We do have players good enough to come 1st. We also have so many things going on we could finish a lot lower. Is AT good enough? Are the players we have signed good enough?

If you look at our squad we should be minimum 6th. But if you would have looked at Pompeys players last season you would have thought top 6 or at least close to it.

I guess that's it isn't it? There's just too many if, buts and maybes surrounding Cov to make an accurate prediction. Will Cody stay injury free this year? Will Barton, Elliott and Fleck realise their potential? Will the youngsters progress? Will the French boys adapt? Will Baker & McSheff dazzle in a lower league? Will SISU sell our star players in January? Will the club face more financial problems? Etc...

Champions of league 1



Sounds good to me, I've never seen a city side battling for promotion besides a half season in the championship. It will be strange watching us win every week.

We were the 1st ever team to be top of the Prem when it first started. Has been slightly downhill since then

Let's not get too excited - this is Coventry City and their way is to tease you, then disappoint you. I'm sure there's a follow up to that last bit!

It's possible. I could see us being second but I'd take anywhere top 6
