Don, we are now getting expert financial and legal advice from professionals in those fields who are City fans and have joined the Trust. We are also getting an incredible level of support from Supporters Direct (effectively the umbrella organisation for supporter trusts) who have the experience and expertise we need. A couple of members of the Trust Board plus a couple of people from Supporters Direct will meet with the Administrator (the fact he has agreed to meet us is a real sign of the Trust's credibility). At this stage, and subject to further developments, we have 2 startegic aims for the meeting: (i) reflecting members' concerns, seek clarification on immediate issues eg ticketing for remaining games, season tickets for 2013/14 etc; and (ii) registering our interest as a stakeholder in relation to any change of ownership and in particular, making the case for fan-led ownership working in partnership with co-investors and other parties with an interest in CCFC. Hope this helps

Great thanks Michael. As always I fully support your efforts.

I take it broken hearted sky blue does not reflect the thoughts of senior sky blue trusts members.

I agree with broken hearted why should the trust ask question on behalf of a non member who then comes on to these sites an slags them off can't have it both ways.
Just like in the 80's people slagged off the unions but were quick enough to take the pay rise they negotiated but hated the unions and by the way are you a member?????????
And by the way they are not senior members but democratically voted on board members open to all

Thought Not

What was wrong with the post you're responding to?

All he was saying was that some people want all the benefits of a group without actually being in the group.

Maybe if the trust asked the questions a lot of non members were wanting answers for they would sign up?

Plus how do you know who are members and who arent?

Join the trust and put your questions forward to be asked.
Or go and ask your own questions yourself.

Doesn't seem hard to grasp really

Calling somebody a penis pot /kettle springs to mind. and not giving a shit who I am does not matter to me the fact that so many on here dont give a shit what is happening does.
I went to the match but more importantly I want to be able to watch many more and thats why I joined the Trust. Will the Trust help I dont know you could say we are clutching at straws the Trust might make no difference at all it might be a complete waste of time only time will tell

My point was not that anybody HAS to go and ask them, how do we even know who is a member on here or not before giving it the "sign up or fuck off" type attitude?

Just obviously if a large % of non members see questions they have in their head asked they might think actually those guys think the same as me, they want the same answers as me, i am going to sign up!

Maybe listening to feedback and taking it in may help get members rather than trust members going like rabid dogs on the defensive it might help. Note the members as individuals.

Sometimes asking people who arent members why they arent members rather than asking members why they are might help more...

My mrs has just read this thread and wants an answer as to whether joining the trust makes your penis bigger?

If so, I've got to join up.

Why not email your questions to the trust?

I am not a member myself, but can't see why any City fan would not support them in whatever they chose to do on behalf of their members - they clearly have the best interests of the club at heart.

Because the fella put questions for the trust to ask for more than just him, more of a collection of questions that fans want the answers to.

Joining a forum, entering a debate and then acting all big and hard if someone has a difference of opinion - it's a little silly.

These Questions are not new do you not think that others have already asked them???
all questions are relevant and I am sure the trust would ask them when they get the chance but whether there answered truthfully by other parties is another matter

Do you know if I am a member of the sky blue trust?

Can you show me where I have never shown them support on here or slagged them off?

When does anybody say they are new questions? He just asked if they could be asked and started a thread about questions for the trust to ask if they can, how was he meant to know they are old questions?

All these threads do is put people off joining because of members going off on one at them, steve does a good job of calming it down!

Any body coming onto this site would think that the Trust is an anti Coventry City site or that it cost hundreds of pounds to join its a pound for gods sake. Typical of this city thats why you see more Man u or Liverpool tops around than City ones. I know iI go about it the wrong way but thats because I chose the user name I have. Because I am broken hearted and angry and scared.

My understanding of how the trust would work, is that it will ask the questions its members want asking.
So if I wasn't a member, rather than waiting to see questions being asked that I like / want to see before joining, wouldn't it be better to get involved and get the questions YOU want to see being put forward ?

Nothing big and hard about that at all.

Am keen to talk to anyone about the trust, but to me the only thing that actually matters (my personal view) are the supporters.
The fans are the club.

All broken hearted has asked is that if you believe the sky blue trust is a waste of time then fair enough but if you want a debate then go and speak to him.
But no to many people are happy to just sit back and hope it all turns out OK.
Sorry to inform you but we have had no information from our beloved club they just do what they want and fuck us all change times of games give you 24 hours notice of where we are playing make you drive to away matches twice once for tickets and then again to watch the game there is nothing stopping them from setting up a ticket office in the town at ryton or even on a pasting table in Tesco's but no fuck you all make it as hard as possible then they say we are not getting enough supporters through the turnstiles
People want questions asked I want questions asked if we never had a fans organisation of some sort then who would ask them?? and who would they ask??

Of course in the long run, i was just talking about winning over non members and turning them!

City fans are a cynical bunch, until they see something with their own eyes or hear it they dont believe it!

So true they are cynical bunch, but rather than let them bury there heads in the sand they should at least ask a question or talk to the TRust.
If we are doing things wrong, which is possible then tell us,talk to us but don't do nothing?
