Have the trust ever said that they represent all the fans? no. Do they represent some of the fans? yes. Why was it started? to give the fans a voice. Why have not a lot more people joined the trust? apathy? compacancy?

You'd have to organise a survey on that one (Survey Monkey link perhaps?) to give you some idea of that. I spelt mine out already. I am interested in football...I pinned my flag to the CCFC mast...if they go under I will be devastated but after that my disillusioned self will go support my local Hants County Premier Division club that is within walking distance, is good honest endeavour, free, standing & whilst less fun & lower quality...it's only what you make it!

If you are referring to my comment - I meant that mocking the SBT for making a public statement & getting the key players name wrong, makes them fair game. Just like George Bush was when he goofed things up!

When you genuinely believe in something it's sometimes difficult not to take every comment to heart.

Well thats the difference between you and me. For me there is only ONE club and will only be ONE club that is why I will do anything I can to save it if I can. The reason that other people have joined the trust is that they feel the same way as I do. Will the club be saved that none of us can answer but does that mean that an attempt shouldn't be made?

If there's one thing about you BHSB it's that you have the most pessimistic username on the forum-not a small achievement.

Ccfc92 if you took the time to pop along to a meeting you would see we are all just average supporters just like you, nothing special about us just a belief that we have to at least try and help in anyway possible.
My view is everyone who follows the Sky Blues should be a member but that will never be, we all have our own views and they are important, but we eventually want the same, to save the football team we love.

A large % arent fussed about politics, the same as they arent about talking about it online, they just want to watch football!

Leeds fan here-only logged on as I've been watching your problems unfurl and dont want to see you suffer the same fate as Pompey etc.
We've had a terrible time getting everyone to join with our Trust and where divisions and splits have effectively kept Ken Bates in power. We think he's gone but we're in a state of flux as to what happens next, where we think we could be flipped shortly.
Its absolutely vital that you all join and support your Trust and give it total support, and put any misgivings and doubts behind you.The Trust movement is your best option of having input and making sure you get your voice heard, and you'll be backed up by the national fans bodies.
Pompey seem to be close to securing FP and you guys could do with movement on that front,as its crazy that a club thats given the game so much could end up playing away from the city.If you fail to get a stadium within Coventry within (I think) four years then you could lose your golden share and face extinction.

Its also important for your Trust to acknowledge every fans input and let everyone have a say,so that you remain united even if youre not collectively sure of how to proceed.

I dont know if it helps but we had a march to show our displeasure which gained maximum publicity ,and at the time of our admin placed flowers around the Bremner statue to do the same. This sort of thing really makes good headlines and draws support from the general public and puts pressure on those who are in the decision making process.

Best of luck

George Bush was paid good money and had countless advisers who were also paid good money
SBT just normal City Fans who like most of us make mistakes to mock people for their beliefs or for simple name mistake is not cleaver with so many things going around and names being disbanded around it is only human

It is hardly aggressive mocking is it? Before releasing a statement you surely double read it and get somebody else to read it?

The trust want to have a say in how the club is run so if they are just normal city fans and its ok for them to make mistakes it doesnt fill people with confidence does it?

Feeling sorry for ourselves isn't going to improve matters-which is where the Trust has one up on a lot of other fans in that they are proactively doing something.

I think what he/she is trying to say is that the Trust is actually doing something to try and save the club.
If they do fail this site will have no use.
Simple

He is. He just doesn't think after 130 years it necessarily requires the sky blue trust to make it 131.

He's not alone.

Don't start me on that - I already kinda support them (in the form of going along to watch sometimes) because my son plays for them. It isn't the same - I too love one one club & one club only.
I have not knocked anyone for being a member nor for their or the SBT motives, nor their opinions...so don't knock me or mine. Some of us maybe don't buy into the SBT as really making a jot of difference to the current plight & what will be will be. I'm beginning to wonder if you are typical of SBT members...this is probably going to be interpreted as me having a pop at you because I am speaking my mind but what the hell?...because it would worry me having someone like you inputting on my behalf. To me you come across as sanctimonious & someone desperate for some sort of power. You will either consider that as an insult or learning point...I guess the choice is yours.
