just a quick one - has anybody used this service from the Sky Blue Tavern?

are there regular buses back and forth, and what time do they start / end? do they get busy and is it a good atmosphere in the tavern?

Tavern is sound, it takes you to the Dhillons tap room at the other end which isn't that great these days.

I used it a while ago, believe you have to book specific times for the shuttles?

Both Tavern and Dhillons were good

so you can’t just turn up and jump on one when it comes? assume it’s back and forth from a certain time onwards?

Issue with Dhillons is that the price keeps going up but the beer is getting worse

Went there for a couple of euro games and no matter what beer you had, it all tasted the same

Yeah you have to book a specific one.

Match Day Shuttle Bus - Kick Off 8pm

Shuttle bus service for Coventry City Home games, from the Sky Blue Tavern to Dhillon's Brewery right next to CBS Arena!
www.eventbrite.co.uk

That's the link for the Oxford game - still tickets left for the 6/7pm outbound shuttle and the 10:30pm inbound.

Used it a few times but it's expensive now.

Originally it was £2 to cover the insurance costs but £4 now. If you're in a group, a Uber can be cheaper.

It will be interesting to see how popular it is this season now the prices are over £6 a pint.

Plus beer is cheaper in the Tav than Dhillons so save money that way as well.

the dhillons beer is horrendous - i know they're local and all that but its bordering on undrinkable!

fan zone outside the ground is far better

I think £4 is still reasonable to get to the CBS from there

If there's two of you, definitely but anymore in a group and it's cheaper in an Uber. At least, it was last season.

That is Dhillons too. It's weird as it is much better than at the Brewery.

The beer at Spire is excellent too.

The irony is, Dhillon's is supposed to be a brewery.

Probably get pelters for this but here goes.....

Dhillons has been shite beer for a while, people just drink it because he's a Cov fan.

The Tavern is class of course, and he's done a lot for the club and fans, but it's just outright racketeering now the price charged for dishwater

There is no discernable difference between their lagers and the fanzone beer, dare I say it even some of the concourse beer is better

when you say dishwater, do you mean their own beers rather than the normal stuff like Peroni etc?

ideally I’d personally love a bus from the Triumph Brewhouse - absolutely fantastic place, brilliant beers and selfishly so convenient for me to get to

The main thing that puts me off Dhillon's is the volume of the DJ. It's too loud.

I love the music but because they have no speakers outside, he blasts it to try and ensure everyone outside can hear it.
