Sky Blue Sam was present on the green for a short time to mingle with our younger supporters and it was good to see that he received warm welcome.
Although Sam was prepared to go on the march it was agreed he should slip away as the heat would have made it unsafe.

The club said early on they supported it and would be sending Sam.
And tbf, it would take one hell of an idiot supporter to abuse a pretend elephant so sending him was probably best.
