It certainly was a classic! And I'm not being biased here! So many people - non sky blue fans - have also said what a fantastic game it was and one of, if not THE, most memorable FA Cup Finals!

The only 'classic' FA final since then was Liverpool vs West Ham.

Which of course, was so inferior to the 87 Classic.

I'm planning on taking may 16th off work and sticking the dvd on at 3pm to celebrate 25 years,a few beers aswell. Might need the 17th off for the bad head.

You forget how much talent that Spurs side had that day!!! Amazing.

And Mickey Gynn? What an engine on that boy.

Oggy and his run and then Peake nearly blowing it after recovering the situation.

Great day. Great memories. 25 long long years.

Surely everbody has this on DVD and can just watch it any time they like anyway. Why the excitement about it being on TV?...

It's about recapturing the moment and sharing it with like minded people. Being proud of the greatest moment in our history and some virtual back slapping knowing that we were once a great football club.

Remember the "steps" rule they brought in? A goalie couldn't take more than (I think) 6 steps before he had to release the ball! (Or was it 3 steps?? - can't remember)
