So, they have signed a new 5 year contract with FL...

Main 2 things to come out of that are..

1) 8pm show every sat night showing every goal in FL. Not applicable to us, as most of our games will be on sundays !
2) Guaranteed best odds on "your" team winnings its league - Cov are 33/1.

I find it a bit disturbing that various divisions of the Sky/Newscorp empire now both sponsor the league and hold the primary broadcast license. Surely there is a conflict of interest there isn't there? How can the TV deal be negotiated impartially when another division of the same company are the title sponsor of the league?

agreed. Thank god that CCFC wouldnt get upto those sort of tricks.
