Anyone spot both Haji and Torp skipping after scoring yesterday?

was that in tribute to Claus Jorgensen after the first ever goal at Ricoh/CBS?

I like that. Current footballers acknowledging club history in that way. There is also the Danish link for Torp.

Thought this was another "hobbies" thread. Just to say, skipping is tremendous exercise.

Wow! I don't know why but I think that's just a brilliant piece of symmetry/tribute.
Just a shame neither managed to get their head on the finish. Rubbish.

It’s a symbolic thing but guarantee if this had happened 5 or 10 years ago the players would have had no awareness of what had gone before. It’s brilliant that the squad has obviously been briefed on what this day meant for the fans, and for them to play their part with small things like that is fantastic.

As impressive as it was,it could be claimed that Jorgensen celebration of his goal which did indeed involve skipping the goaI itself could've gone been a tribute to Houchen at Wembley, not sure what his celebration was, but fairly sure it was similar also.

If my memory serves me well Houchen wheeled away behind the goal and jumped up and down with his arms raised. I don't remember anyone going up to him to celebrate???

Houchen jumped over the advertising hoardings and ran to our end whilst the rest of the team were celebrating with Bennett. When Houchen was interviewed he said he turned round and nobody had followed him & he was gutted
