The amount of Cov fans attending sixfields seems to have reduced if you compare the first game at home last season and today's first home game- 279 deciding not to bother

Today -Cov and neutrals 1327 Sheffield fans 952 attendance 2279

first game last season - Cov and neutrals 1506 - Preston fans 562 = attendance 2068

And there was a protest last season at the same time...

It's not looking good.

Edit: wait, wasn't there? Or am I confused?

Would expect the crowds to wane unless we do really, really well. I'm sure last season there was a bit of novelty factor for quite a few.

The longer we are there the worse it's going to get unfortuntely.

The worst part of the whole scenario is that by the time we do come back a lot of fans may well be lost forever.

After seeing the new view from the hill, i might be tempted by Barnsley midweek!!

I imagine selling Wilson, not making a marque signing replacement, and 2 losses in the week preceding may have had an impact,

Yes you can now see the whole pitch from the hill, not even any need to move around to watch both goals.
Had some Sheffield fans joins us today who could not get into ground and refused to buy tickets in the home end, smashing lads.

Preston? We played Bristol first game. Are you related to Simon Gilbert? Such journalistic investigation ability I assume so,

Why there will always be midweek games why should it make a difference?

It is cheap enough to get in, I'm not working and even I could afford it if I wished to enter which I don't.

Normally the midweek game that suffers not the Saturday?

I know, if we had won then I reckon it would have been a higher attendance. Not the fact we had a game midweek!

Did we play Preston first game?

Makes we laugh as we won today the team we played must be relegation fodder.

You'd hate it if we got promoted under sisu wouldn't you?

That's just a platitude Nick. The reason folk did not turn up is SISU and the shit they have created. This will not end until the message has been unequivocally delivered to Seppala and her cronies.

CCFC belongs to the fans and the CITY of Coventry.

Dress it up however you like, but eventually the really feckin clueless out there will have to recognise the writing is on the wall for SISU and their plan.

No I'm not saying it would be a full house if we had won in the week, just that more would have probably gone.

Overall total crowd was up on last year in terms of gate receipts then......???

Not sure what op is trying to prove then given the above as the number of cov fans as a ratio drop is peanuts with more gate receipts into the club
from first home game this year than the previous one.....that after a mid-week game and an opening day defeat.

Relegation would be confirmation - promotion - many peoples nightmare. Most on here want the team to lose - that's bloody obvious.

Stop talking shit.

You want others to believe most on here want the team to lose because you're running out of ammunition to discredit the vast majority who disagree with almost everything you have to say.

You'd rather make up shit than deal with the fact that the club is dying at Suxfields at the hands of sisu so you just try to discredit the masses who realise this.

No Never!!!!!!!!

Most just Want Sisu to lose then to fuck off and give us our club back.
If we do get relegated and they fuck off I will gladly take it to see my team where it belongs back in COVENTRY........

So you'd rather we get relegated than promoted under sisu.

Yet you have the gall to question my support for the club.

Take a look in the mirror Dorian Grey - you won't like what you see.

I see the moron-to-sane person ratio is still abnormally high over here.

Cue boring Tony hilariously riposting with a comment about bitter lemon increasing said ratio. Because he's not a predictable twat at all, oh no.

I'd rather see my team play in Coventry and yes don't care what league there in.
Thing is as a club we are dying in Northampton soon be nothing to support, if that makes you a better supporter then me then well done.

And I have never Questioned your support, more made up shit to try and prove a point.
I said you were showing your true colours?

Are you Grendulls alter ego? You always seem to turn up when he's making a twat of himself. Like the subliminal message too bitter lemon very anti-moronic.

I can't. The ratio of basket cases on this thread is abnormally dense. God spoke to me and asked I keep an eye on things...

You always question my support whenever I criticise former managers or players. Others though who slag off Sillett, Pressley and current players you never challenge.

Hypocrisy.

Didn't you say "mark my words we will lose the first for games"

Next Pressley will be off to Huddersfield.

Thorn may be a good manager.

I think thorn must be god if your empowered to keep an eye on things.
