1. As the advert says, when was the last time you tried something new?
2. This is a Coventry City team that wins things and gets promoted!
3. It is supporting a Sky Blues team in Coventry at our home ground.
4. Every person inside sixfields provides justification for the move to Northampton but everyone at the Ricoh on Sunday shows our opposition to the move.
5. Don't knock it till you've tried it.
6. CCFC has been taken over by a money grubbing hedgefund which has no interest in football - supporting CCLFC and making the Ricoh our own is part of the fight to get OUR club back from sisu and make it supporter focused and rooted in OUR city.

Other points v welcome!

1 reason not to.....

It is a bank holiday weekend which means I can get lashed up on Sunday without having to worry about ringing up work on Monday morning to tell them that I have been struck down with another case of sickness and diarrhea.

Another reason not to go:
NOPM should extend to ACL as theyve had a part to play in this shit fest. Let's not line their pockets

Sorry Michael but I am perplexed as to why the trust is supporting this. It's a blatant attempt by ACL to try a cheap publicity stunt. Who is actually paying to put this on? Not the team that's for sure.

To be avoided at all costs and if they keep trying this nonsense I'm sure more people will go to Sixfields.

People say the club are desperate as they are advertising the game - well how desperate is this?

Good to hear the Trust are listening to their members.

What did Haskell promise the 3 board members who met with him?

Bollocks.

THIS IS NOT A VALID PROTEST.....it should only be attended by those who have a genuine interest in the Ladies team or those who truly prefer to actively support ACL over CCFC.

Besides....Womens football is shit.

So a reason to watch is because they win things, why not go and support man utd?

It is just trying to push more money acls way surely, bit harsh on bedworth United how the game has been moved away, I hope their rent is still being paid and they don't take acl to court for stealing their customer.

Michael, what are the Trust actively doing to put pressure on all sides to find a resolution and bring the football team back to the Ricoh?

Its an opportunity for the Ladies to showcase their skills and raise their profile to a larger than usual audience. And the quality of their football and achievements to date deserve it.

It has nothing whatsoever to do with a cheap stunt by ACL, anyone who thinks otherwise is at best seriously misinformed.

Ahh ok so it just so happens it has been moved from bedworth United to the Ricoh at the same time ccfc play at sixfields?

Just so happens it wasn't when there was an away game?

Agree with the first bit, but not the second. Of course it's a stunt by ACL. I'm not too concerned that it is, but to say it isn't is a little silly.

I am not fully understanding why the Trust are backing events such as this and i suppose this goes back to the actually interpretation of NOPM and therefore does it mean that:
1) we support events at the Ricoh to show SISU what they are missing and starve them out (as people put) or,
2) We need to get ACL and SISU talking and demand an outcome to the Ricoh and we wont goto Northampton until we do.

At the moment, we seem to be siding with ACL rather than facing the issue head on, the Trust isnt really demanding results on getting us back to Coventry rather than demanding answers on how potentially 'dodgy' the whole process is.

As much as people hit out at Sixfields attendees, events like these are not going to bring us back home any quicker it is actually going to prelong the problem this end.

It's high time to dismiss all the 'Politics', ALL the spin (from ALL sides, NOT just one!) and get behind the Manager, Platers & Team IMHO!

OK in the background to try and get discussions going between ALL parties but we need to move-on from ALL the negativity and try and 'buy' into what Steven Pressley is trying to do for our Club!

PUSB - PUSB - PUSB - PUSB - PUSB - PUSB - PUSB

You cannot be serious

Why the fuck would anyone want to put money in ACL coffers?
They are as much to blame as SISU for this mess

Give him a chance, it's only the third time he's re-drafted them after 'taking on board comments and suggestions'.

Just one question if I may Michael?

Did the Sky Blue Trust campaign against the fact that Coventry City Ladies played outside the City before this season?

If not this could be classed an act of hypocrisy.

for me its about sticking 2 fingers up to the FL/FA more than anything else and personally i think thats where the focus should be. SISU are in it for themselves end off, so their actions should be unsuprising if not unexpected, ACL are the lesser of 2 evils in my opinion. But the FL & FA need the pressure on them to stop this happening again if not stop it happening this time.

My personal opinion:

1. fair enough
2. Not important for me.
3. I support CCFC not CCLFC. Not bothered if they are a Coventry team as they are not the Coventry team. I wouldn't see Cov Sphinx, Cov Utd or the 1000s of other teams as they are not CCFC.
4. No they don't they are exercising their right to do as they wish. I'm disappointing the Trust can't see this.
5. Same as number one, isn't it? Maybe you should have said FIVE reasons?
6. Fair enough over SISU, but still disappointed by yours and the Trust lack of criticism for ACL or CCC who are far from innocent in all this.

The Trust need to have a clearer message. Too much KCIC, NOPM, etc etc. No one knows which is the "right" one to support as we all have differing views.

How else are ACL going to pay the incredible 'management fees' the council charge them for providing 2 board members?

Grendel - As ever, I enjoy your challenging perspective but you are making assertions rather than citing facts i.e. you are criticising the financial arrangements for Sunday so please tell everyone what they are!

Torch - some good questions. I'm afraid I really don't understand much of the posting on here anymore. Any criticism of sisu seems to be met with 'acl are equally to blame'. The big question for me then becomes what do we want acl to do? sisu have taken us to northants. The FL have sanctioned it. What can acl in reality do to get ccfc back? I've never bought into you have to be either pro/anti acl/sisu and what I'm interested in is how we get ccfc back to the ricoh - I can see the answer in relation to sisu and the FL but real ideas (not the abuse that seems to be the norm for quite a few posters on here now) would be v welcome
