That's not a bad shout!

That is a quote from the direct gov website. Therefore, they cannot kick us out. They also have no ownership over the property and it is only The Alan Higgs trust or the Coventry City Council that have the right to remove us.

I like the idea of a sit in protest. Just sit in after the final whistle and chant anti-sisu songs and wave our flags. I know a steward and I remember him saying before they can't leave untill the ground is empty so would certainly cause a lot of distress and is bound to get noticed if enough people participate.

Actually, come to think about it. It all depends on who pays the stewards wages.

What I man is, I am led to believe that the council pay the Stewards wages, and therefore they may have the right to kick us out, but I am not 100% sure.

Yeah, I read it and liked the idea, I don't think you need them embroidered though. Just some black electrical tape would do it. I honestly think we should do it.

My dad was a Steward last season and he was paid by the football club.

It is a good idea but you need every fan to do it, not just 10-12.

Get t-shirts with each letter on and stand in a row: S.I.S.U.O.U.T.

I'd like to see them try to undress you. Not literally of course.

10th sept. next home game, enough time to plan. The thing with the pdf banner that nick suggested would work! I could get one done tonight/tomorrow. Also large banners and protests before and after the game would work!

Im also in favour of the black armband, but they must be decent ones. Even if we have to pay £5-10 for one i think it is something that most people will join in with.

I was also a steward (back in the HR days) and I was paid by CCFC. It's true that we had to wait until the ground was empty before we could leave. We had to do security checks etc after everyone had left the ground. That was in the days of Bob Rankin. Don't know if he's still the main man over the stewards though.

I still think everyone moves round to the tesco stand and have a sing song

If you really want SISU out then simply boycott the games. Let it be known that you are not turning up. It only takes a few thousands to take this line and they will sell within weeks. It's hitting them where it hurts - in the wallet. As making money out of the club is their only objective they will soon leave.

I am all for making some form of action - but tread carefully with the black armband thing - this is traditionally to show respect for those that have lost their lives and could be construed by some as city fans abusing that tradition and in doing so disrespectful. Only a thought.
