2007 -08 Season:

  • Finished (just) in the Championship
  • Ranson: "Were debt free!"
  • FL Golden Share was with CCFC
  • No real talk about a rent deduction
  • The Arena is our home

2012 -13 Season

  • 10th in League 1 (pending points deduction of at least 10 points)
  • 60 Million in debt
  • 5 Managers (including 2 Caretakers) and the season isn't over yet!!
  • FL Golden Share? Trying to locate that on Google Maps
  • "The rent we agreed to pay is outrageous and has nothing to do with us not investing in the club to keep it in the Championship where we hardly mentioned it. PS - Can we have access to Hot Pie money? Ta!"
  • "Our future fixtures will be played at Nene Park / Blues / Walsall / Winterfell / Vulcan / Unbuilt stadium in South Warwickshire (without planning permission) cos we can afford to build that but can't pay the reduced rent which we agreed to until Joy said 'No fracking way Timmy!!' In the mean time, we are moving all of our stuff out of the Arena but don't worry supporters, its business as usual! We now have to ask ACL for permission to play at the Arena despite the fact we kicked ourselves out, how evil are those bastards!??"

God bless you, SISU! God bless you! Can't wait to see what you and your appointed Administrator has planned next for my club!

You voice the concerns of all City fans...who knows what today's court action will mean?

You're pretty much on the money there. The due dilligence done by them was obviously horrendously poor/non-existant or the global collapse affected them more than they hoped for.

I don't get the £60m in debt though? I'd agree with £1.3m in debt. But when they took over, we apparently owed money to a number of parties. Now we don't. We owe money to SISU Capital...but they're our owners. Isn't that written off as investment?

The high finance and glut of interlinked companies and their exact relationships baffle me and many others I'm sure and nobody has ever explained on here or otherwise why there was a £12 million administration charge in the last accounts ?? What the fuck was that about and what other cloak and dagger deals have they pulled off along the way because they sure haven't subsidised this club to the tune of £8 million plus each year, that is pure bullshit !! This is a hedge fund we are discussing............... they haven't lost anywhere near as much money themselves as they are making out.

Sisu, god how I hate those four letters.
The imbecilic management is one thing but the deceit
has been hard to stomach.

A Conspiracy Theory

In this bizarre world that CCFC L or H currently exist it would surprise me one iota that most of the 60 mill that we owe, is owed to hedge fund SiSU. The hedge fund who will maximise their profits under any circumstance & defraud the City of Coventry of their football club & God forbid, the Council & their cucumber sandwiches. Follow the money & I predict SiSU & Joy will be there & not anywhere in this post code.

That's my conspiracy rant!
