Liquidation means no club. Is that what we want?

They are still cheating, but now with the full blessings from those that run football in this country.

Something needs to be done. Maybe not liquidation, but maybe down at least one division to show other teams that cheats don't prosper. At the moment they do. It looks like at the moment you can buy success with money you don't have, then when it is time to pay the money back you say you can't and lose 10 points. Then do it again two years later if you don't get into the Prem. Then you can sign players whilst under an embago for multiple reasons.

Don't the fair play rules go as far as fair play and level playing fields? :thinking about:

I've had a season ticket 17 years now. Don't pretend that I am not a proper fan. Bending over and taking it while your club are relegated is not being a 'proper fan' it's being too lazy to try and stop it.

Grow a pair and while you're at it change your childish username.

Glory hunters?! What glory is that then? Some of you people have such contempt for your own club. Saying crap like we should go down, bottom out and come back. Why the hell should we? You don't see other clubs doing that do you? Why wish it on your own club.

Jesus christ it's not even as if the club owes the money to the tax payer or local businesses - just some rich hedge fund running arseholes who took a gamble and lost.

Who the hell cares if poor SISU lose £30mil - in fact i'd rather they did!

What we need is a takeover involving the purchase of the stadium to secure our long term viability. This is a decent sized club representing one of the biggest Cities in the country.

Don't be such a self loathing little b*tch.

OSB's thoughtful post on the future of the Club early on in this thread assumes that the owners will continue to put money into the Club whilst trying to bring its outgoings somewhere near its income. Duffy's short post suggests liquidation as the alternative. Will Sisu continue to put money in or will they stop? There are no potential buyers so they don't have a way out. A Jack Walker might continue to put money in for as long as he has it. Sisu are recognised by everyone as a collection of faceless investors with no connection to the Club or City. Will they continue and if so for how long? I hope that they continue to put money in. I fear that they could easily turn off the tap and Joy Seppalla can be the first "owner" to visit "her" Club once in over four years and then shut it down.

The Olympics will showcase the stadium, and to some extent our football club. Any astute businessperson will try to find ways of exploiting this.

There may well be opportunities to attract investors, sponsors or even a new stadium naming deal....things we have not considered, but business people (at that level) will be thinking more strategically than us.

We need to see the bigger picture of investment, not restrict our vision to just our club. I hope that we are not being taken for a ride, without realising it,

You surely aren't using Brighton's status as the gay capital of Europe as an insinuation that I must be gay as well? Fair play, nobody's thought of that one.

Ooeeer missus - bit touchy. You do not like it when it is served up for you.

Just remember - post unto others how they post to you.

Anyway - 3 pts today, a glimmer of hope.
