So sisu/ccfc have won the award of best designed programme in league 1. Maybe the 1st good honest thing to add to their cc

Best designed CV?

Bet it took days to work out how many companies they have liquidated in the past.

Fair play, I wouldn't say it was SISU though it is likely to go to the designers so congratulations to them. I am pretty sure they have nothing to do with us moving away from Coventry so can't really discredit them.

We have come seccond and third that a few times in the past but it is a lot easier to win when you only have to make 100

Pretty sure the design is the same no matter how many are printed?

So why is it easier to win with less copies printed?

Sorry, was it meant be a joke to turn the thread into anti sisu? Carry on if joy is really designing the program herself but otherwise what's the issue with congratulating the designers?

Everything's a anti-sisu joke when the chuckle brothers are logged in.

Anyway back on topic, I haven't seen the program so can't really comment on if it is good or not.

Anti SISU? ointlaugh:

So when are you going to have a go at anti CCC and anti ACL posts if you can call this anti SISU?

You really are starting to get fucking boring. When Cov Council win an award for something like pretty flowers and somebody starts to take it off topic with that shit then I would be the first to say it isn't at all anything to do with it.

I am surprised you didn't mention management fees.

If you have a problem then PM me, but otherwise keep threads on topic.

The graphics people tend to do a decent job overall, one of our few plus points. It's a bit rabble-rousing to say Sisu have won the award when there's already plenty of genuine reasons to complain about them as it is.

Neither have I Nick. And have a feeling I never will. And BTW this wasn't an anti SISU post either just like the previous ones. I just won't be going to Northampton whatever. Or am I not allowed an opinion if someone could see any comments as anti SISU but if it is anti anything SISU are anti to I can say what I want?

Oh Jesus........

On the otherhand well done Carl Newell, Matthew Hyde, Jim Brown and everyone else who contributes to the PUSB Matchday Programmes, I am sorry to say that I haven't purchased more this season then I have previously, but great work and a award which is well deserved.

No, you aren't allowed to try and turn every thread off topic.

I couldn't give a shit if you go to Northampton or not, this isn't a thread asking if you go to Northampton or will you, it is a thread about an award being won.

You can say whatever you want, but if you want to go on about how you will never go to Northampton then start a thread about it or post it in one of the others rather than putting the same stuff slightly changed in every thread whether it is related or not. If people post unrelated stuff about the council or ACL then feel free to report it.

It is quite clear what you and Paul or Barry meant by the "oh it is easier to win if there are only a few" which I am not sure was a shite attempt at a joke or not.

And I would agree. What have flowers got to do with football? Show me the anti SISU posts on this thread then.

Shall we stop talking about anything to do with SISU, ACL, CCC and similar? What I find fucking boring is when people make excuses for SISU but as soon as someone says anything about SISU you have a go. Just show me once you have had a go at any anti CCC/ACL posts.

So just to be clear, no jokes about Sisu, no tongue in cheek remarks and no wordplay with names. Also, we have to PM you with any comments about Sisu if we go off topic so you can tell us if we can post or not?

What has the amount of programmes printed got to do with the design??????????

Maybe it is because anti CCC and ACL posts arent in every fucking thread so are harder for me to see?

If you have a problem then PM me like I have said.

No, PM me if you have an issue with the website or my comments.

The issue is people trying to take every thread off topic. I wouldn't mind SISU jokes if they actually made sense.

I don't care if people are Anti SISU or ACL in a thread related to it. They can say what they want rather than turning every thread into the same old tedious crap.

Given how few we probably sell, maybe it's like the Book of Kells - we can have a monk hand drawing the letter at the start of every paragraph...

Joking aside, fair play to the designers, always nice to have your work recognised. (Or so I'm told, I spend my working life trying to make sure no one can track down the person responsible for my shoddy output.).

(Edit: I should add this is actually an attempt at humour, rather than a dig at those who go/don't go to Sixfields. As such, I hope it's permitted, Nick).

And I also take the point - regardless of what side you're from, we should all try not to let every thread turn into the pro/anti SISU argument.

The problem is that it's easy to bite - and I should know because I'm probably one of the worst offenders. Luckily, my valium arrived in the post today.

My last line was tongue in cheek, couldn't be arsed with a smiley. With regard to the Sisu jokes, everybody is different and we all don't get each others jokes and what makes sense to me might not to you but surely that doesn't mean you can't post it, does it? You are right about what becomes tedious and sometimes it can be but to be honest these things are a good place to vent so without some of it I think it would be a worse place. We all have to put up with stuff we don't, I don't like the healthy lifestyle section in newspapers but I just choose not to read it because I like to eat crap food, but some will like it so fair enough.

Of course, but all I ask is that it is kept in relevant topics. It could be anti SISU, anti CCC or anti ACL but just keep it in a thread about it rather than the same people trying to de-rail every thread.

If somebody wants to create a SISU joke thread where people can post their best then they are quite welcome and I try not to moderate much but I will have to moderate / ban if the same few try to ruin every thread (whether it is anti or pro anybody)

I think £3 is the norm. I wasn't keen on the Notts County one. I very rarely used to buy programmes but my son loves them so we always get one.
