We have heard more from SISU in the past 6 weeks than in the past 12 years, thus resulting in today’s interview with Joy.
Either they have employed some decent PR advisors, they are playing the sympathy card, or they have a valid case against CCC and the Wasps.
At the moment I can’t work out which it is.
Or clutching at straws, lets not rule that out
Or at the end of the rope and this is the last frantic throw of the dice.
Nah, ropes and dice are totally different.Pretty sure that’s a similar thing
I would go with that mateOr clutching at straws, lets not rule that out

I’m not sure it is the last throw of the dice for SISU, but merely a damage limitation exercise. They know revenues will be hit by moving to Brum, so being more visible and sounding supportive of the club will help reduce impact.
This could be a tactic to reduce the amount SISU have to stump up to keep the club going whilst the European Commission investigate.
My worry is .... if there the Commission find there is no case to answer we could be subject to a ‘fire sale” of players mid season.
True, but in the interim the club will be running at a significant loss & given the mantra being promoted of the club being run on a cost neutral basis. Then either SISU increases their funding or revenues must be raised via salesSurely if there's no case we can return back to the Ricoh?
Depends what comes afterwards!Surely if there's no case we can return back to the Ricoh?
Sky blue bloodI wouldn't be too worried: Joy has and will always be a Coventry City fan. She said so.

Well if this is what a fan does to our club, I’d hate to see what someone who wasn’t a fan would do
No the losses just stack up. Never to be paidTrue, but in the interim the club will be running at a significant loss & given the mantra being promoted of the club being run on a cost neutral basis. Then either SISU increases their funding or revenues must be raised via sales
The implication of what you’re saying is that you’d give in to all of Wasps’ demands.
Imagine if the European Courts ruled in ‘our’ favour, Wasps has to pay the council whatever they do. Had we signed up to their demands, it would be us footing the bill and probably bankrupting us in the process.
Wasps can make these or any unreasonable demands because there’s no alternative for us in Coventry aside from the RICOH.
I’ll let you make your mind up on that one.
Is it ?. That’s not what I am saying at all. They have had 11 years to come up with a long term plan for the club and have failed.
