It is worth saying that Brody could not have been any clearer about saying the club wasn't for sale when on CWR with Clive last week. He said something like "I just want to be clear about something I said on Wednesday...when we said the club is not for sale, either in the short-term, or the immediate long-term, we mean it is not for sale. Period. " OK maybe not 100% accurate, but probably more than the CT are with their quotes! He then of course spoke about taking us to the Premiership within 2 seasons.

Now, if you assume he's lying-why would he do that? Was it just to piss off RR/GH?

If he's telling the truth-again, why is the club not for sale? Surely if they just want "a shot at getting some of their investment back" (Dulieu), a sale is a way to do that?

I genuinely do not understand and my head hurts. Does anyone on here "get it"?

They also mentioned a council meeting that wasn't scheduled, why suddenly believe them when they say the club isn't for sale?

I mean, if they said that they have grand plans for the club, nobody would believe that.

SISU should stay.
But if a loaded russian, arab or chinese were to come in with sh*tload of money to play with, then everyone would be happy.

I think they are actually saying that they have no intention in selling the club as it stands as the valuation would not match their overall investment. In other words they would lose money if they sell now.
In reality everything is for sale - if the price is right for both the seller and the buyer.

Just like to add that SISU remain our best and ONLY option currently. It's no use shouting them out. Without them we would have gone last week.
Now hoping they sell if investors can be found sounds like a good idea but don't hold your breath.
We need the summer for investors to be found and the stadium negotiated from the council so that investor can be found.
But I will remind you....if we get a deal for the stadium then SISU may want to stay on.

i think sisu should go but before they do and if they do we should all send our thanks to them because lets face it if it wasnt for them we wouldnot be here now. i am fully agreed that over the past few months there decisions have not been the best for the club but lets face it football is no longer a sport its a business and they are here to make money so i think its time to draw a line and move foward thanking them and leaving them in our history.

Football may well be a business, but it is an entertainment product, not a necessity ( eg bread and milk). If the product on the shelf is unattractive, or tastes bad, you take another brand. This is not the case with football; if you don't like it, you don't go.

You have to invest to make your product attractive- SISU made mistakes by selling quality players at critically important moments, eg Dann, which has cost the club support in the long term. You could argue that the lack of profitability is of their own making.

We will see (very soon) if they have learned the lesson, this summer is make or break. Yes, they have staved off administration, in the short term, but I doubt that they have the conviction to demonstrate a real desire to invest ( as opposedto just service the debt), in order to make this particular loaf of bread into the tastiest one on the shelf.

Shame, because the players are demonstrating that they can play good attractive football, under the right leadership,
And it seems a shame not to build on that.
