Life support it is then infinitum and a continual sale of any assets anyway, no progress, no hope, but plenty more lies and court cases.

So you think they are doing their best despite all the evidence being to the contrary,
Even Nick struggled to defend you there, he did it but he struggled.
And we could bring in 2 "premier league" class players this afternoon but it won't alter the
Fact the club is in the worst position in its history as a direct result of their stewardship or
Lack of.

So what is your solution ?

But what does that actually mean?

You are shouting that nobody should go, but then moaning about no investment and things being sold off to cover things?

I am not sure what you are reading? I wasn't defending I was just pointing things out.

Why is it that if people aren't shouting SISU OUT LOLZ OMFG they are defending people? I can't remember Neal ever being "pro sisu" or a "sisu lover", but I guess it makes me one for pointing it out?

I am not a SISU lover at all. I am a CCFC fan who only wants the best for my club
Whilst I totally agree that SISU have handled the whole ownership appallingly over the first 5 years, I now believe they are trying to remedy the situation.
However, it will be a very long process and probably will never recover.
The reason I posted earlier was to say there is no point demonstrating against SISU and damaging the playing budget unless there is a better plan. To my acknowledge there isn`t at this point and unlikely to be in the near future.

It is blindingly obvious who it damages most when people will refuse to go to games etc. I am shocked that people can't see that, they then moan about the likes of Sheffield United signing loads of players and teams like Leicester or Norwich getting promoted from League 1.

We should arrange for new owners to take over after SISU have resigned on Saturday evening. Is that what the other thread asking if anyone wanted the job was for?

Say NOPM achieves its stated aim,; at the end of the 2016/17 season SISU pull the plug and wind the club (Otium) up and ARVO or whoever takes possession of Ryton. All gate monies have been received at that point. The existing £100k p/a deal at the Ricoh is cancelled as Otium has been wound up.

What happens next?

I think it means some fans will start up a club in the Cov Alliance and play football owners and try to pass it off as CCFC.

We would be debt free, unemcumbered from a whole tiered layer of companies based in the Cayman Islands. A consortium a la Pompey would assume control and we should have a level of transparency and honesty not seen in decades. A club run by people who understand the game and the fans requirements. Both Wasps and the Council would I expect be on board in helping the club strike new deals once the litigious scum are out of the picture. It wouldn't be perfect and fans would have to accept that investment would be limited but who knows what sort of investors could rear their heads in that scenario ?!

So how would the fans get the "club" from SISU then or would it be a new club?

You can tell a man by his shoes, so the saying goes. He will never take the club over judging by the things he used to turn up in.

We wouldn't need investors, we'd need people prepared to put millions in that they are never ever likely going to get back. I don't see too many of those people around....

I've been there. Lovely it is. Children run through buttercup meadows and fish in the chocolate stream. Whilst above you the Jaffa Orange sun shines through the candy floss clouds.

Would the fans group taking over have the money to cover the losses or would they do this by selling players / cutting costs on the wage bill? How would it work?

This is the thing, people asking questions like that will now be accused of wanting SISU to stay, loving them and defending them.

Judging by some of the regular flounces we have on here I reckon more than one 'fish in the chocolate stream'.

Pompey's supporters trust only got to takeover as the club was in administration and the administrator ignored offers from others. Even then it involved them doing a deal with a property developer (there's now a Tesco where the car park at Fratton Park used to be) and they got a 7 figure loan off the council.

As much as I love the football club, there is no way I'd remortgage my house to fund it. Especially with some of the chimps that would end up on the 'supporters board'.

Remortgage your house to pay for a player's wage for a year. Imagine the rage when you see him not trying....

Why are people talking about needing millions of pounds ? The club pretty much runs at break even, so as now you would just need the support of the fans and sponsors and normal revenue streams. The biggest problem would indeed be prizing SISU's hands off the club, but then why are they holding on to it..................
Oh and I didn't say anything about a takeover from Wasps or the council, just that they might actually want to deal with another entity owning the club.

What million pound losses ?? Pretty sure any losses now would only be because of SISU imposed administration charges ?! That and debt interest which under that { dream } scenario would be a thing of the past. It's all academic anyway because the scumbags have reasons to cling on to the club or they would have scrapped the project a few years ago.

We have no idea if the club breaks even. It has stated an intention to break even, but the last published accounts show more losses. Apparently SISU put some more money in last season, which suggests it is still not breaking even. If the gates decline again this season, it may struggle to break even again.
