And when you have 'forced' SISU out and scared away any potential investor .... then what?

Are you so determined to make your poster name 'afc coventry' become a reality that you will go to any length?

Why would sisu out scare away a potential investor?

Clearly nobody will want to invest in Manchester United anymore as they have been protesting against their owners, what, you didn't know thats how it works?

Because investors hate risks .. oh, but they do! ... they won't like one bit the prospect of fans deciding their future exit point.

Do you know how investors think, what drives them, what drives them away?

Sorry Godiva, had you missed the fact that we have an interested party, brought together by an ardent fan, who wants to buy the club from these clowns.

Why would any potential investor be scared away by fans who care about their club, as its when they dont care that they should worry.

If you think that investors are stupid, you should think again.
What the fans are saying about the present owners they will repeat with new owners - who would have to run the business just like the previous.
It really doesn't matter to investors if their frontman is a passionate supporter. In fact that should make them more cautious, as decisions made with the hearth is often more wrong than right.

But if future investors lie & go back on their word like Sisu then we are right to scare them off. I don't want anyone like this shower in my club again.

What I have been advocating ever since the take over situation started:
Try to get any new money in to work with the existing instead of wasting them on buying out old loans.

If fans should protest it should be against the war of words digging deeper trenches between the parties and demand they work together like professionels and not throw mud like children.

Sorry I dont remember saying investors are stupid. It appears thats something you have made up. Please dont misquote me if you disagree.

Our potential investors are certainly not stupid and are headed by a man who clearly isnt.

Why will fans say the same about our potential new owners? as things will change, as for a start they want to buy half the stadium, a fact SISU clearly cant do. They will also have their own vision, and buisness plan which should differ from the SISU bleed the club dry of every asset buisness plan.

Your arguement that we should be cautious of potential new owners being headed by a passionate supporter is just claptrap. He is a very successfull buisnessman who I think from heading several UK banks would have learnt that you do buisness with your head and not your heart.
But if you disagree thats up to you. I think you will be in a very small minority.

Well where does this new money come from ? Do you think there is a line of interested parties straining at the leash to pump money into dear old Coventry City Football Club, you live in fantasy land pal. Hoffman and his men are the ONLY alternative. SISU are not going to put ANY of their money in any more, so we limp on until someone calls a halt and that ain't far away, infact i believe it is the Hoffman interest that is keeping certain creditors at bay. As for working with the existing that stance is quiet simply staggering.

So if he runs the club as 'very successfull businessman' what exactly will he do differently?

Buy half the Ricoh to increase income streams, invest in the team to improve ticket sales.

FFS I dont know exactly I am not Ken Bruce, or Hoffman, but yuou sound just like Dulieu.

Perhaps he will have a different buisness plan, and will decide if you invest a little in the team, win some games, and give the fans hope, then more people will come through the turnstiles, bringing more revenue.

That would be a good start rather than draining the fans of any hope, and dropping gates to 13k, and remain in the bottom three.

Your arguement is like sticking your head in the sand and saying lets stick as we are as SISU are doing it the only way they can.

Its funny lots of other clubs have successfull buisness plans, in contrast to us, do you think they all do it the SISU way.:facepalm::facepalm:

Please remember that SISU are NOT our investors! They are managing the funds that owns us. We don't know who the investors in the funds are - they are faceless.
Just like Hoffman will not become our principal investor and his investors would depend on him not to upset the fans.
It will be a matter of oppinion if Hoffamn can stay on positive terms with the fans until the point the investors have cashed in and left.
How realistic is that?

That would work for me if OldSkyBlue58 haven't told us that buying half the Ricoh won't get us income stream to increase our wage bill.

And again, if Hoffman can bring the money to buy the Ricoh, why use it to buy out old loans to SISU?
Let them work together!

No, I just see things a bit differently and in shades of grey.
You want to get rid of our owners - those who have us on life support - without knowing or even care if new owners can provide a better life support and ensure we are cured from the cancer of excess spending.

But anyone can see Sisu are killing us.

Fact we are losing more money each month now with Sisu in charge.

Fact the squad is now weaker with Sisu running the show.

I don't know about anyone else but I am willing to takethe risk of new owners running our club.

I think SISU is keeping us alive rather than killing us.
We are loosing much less now than when SISU took over.
The squad is much slimmer - way too slim (I never said anything to the contrary) - but that is necessary to bring down the wage bill.

I will take that risk too - but I before I jump to wanting SISU out, I will need reassurance the new owners really have a viable plan to take us forward.

BTW - in regards to the threadbare squad: If Ranson had managed to sell Westwood and Gunnar last summer that money would have been very usefull towards strengthing our current squad. As it stands the two players went for nothing (exept for the tribunal on Gunnar), and I think that was the last nail in Ransons coffin - SISU forced him out.

Well if you can't see out of either eye probably so.

As for Ranson trying to sell Westwood It is obvious Westwood for financial reasons wanted to run his contract down

I can't imagine that GH wants to work with SISU. Don't forget that he resigned because of the way SISU were running the club. It would be surprising, therefore, if he encouraged new investors to help SISU. He wants them out.

No you see grey and I see a different grey, how childish of you to try to imply otherwise.

Do you really know that I dont care if the new owners can provide a better life support for the club, no you dont, so I suggest you dont try to speak for me as I can speak for myself thanks.

Personnally I want to see if the potential new owners have got the clubs best interest at heart, and have the money to support us, as opposed to seeing SISU slowly strangle the life out of the club. Still if thats what floats your boat thats up to you.

The fact that this protest made the Express and names sisu as being our owners is brilliant. Also the videos on youtube have had near on 500 views collectively already so were starting to get the word out that we are not simply going to sit around and let this club be destroyed. Im glad i took part in the protest now and will be ready again should nothing change come the Derby game. Id urge everyone else to follow suit because it is working! Time To Go Sisu, Time To Go!!

well i want to put my views across about Ranson.
if you remember well we sold Scott Dann and Danny Fox for one it wasn't Ranson that sold them it was Sisu and the other did the team see any of the money i dont think so if we did it was very very little of it.
With Sisu forcing Ranson out the reason he left the club for was he wanted to build the club up with young up and coming players and everytime we had a start coming through Sisu would try to sell him/them
and do you really believe him wanted to sell Westwood or Gunnarsson i think not and do you really think that if we did sell them the manager would get the money to get new players i think not it wuld just go in there pockets like it has been
